hacking websites breaking the law?

by making hacks, especially the ones you have to pay for, that people can download, aren't hacking websites infringing crossfires copyright which is against the law?

Im pretty sure only the ones they sell are Illegal.. Cause they're profiting off it.

im not sure if its ilegal as hacks are client side.... they certainly break crossfire's TOS

Pretty sure the justice system has more pressing concerns than a free, online game.

No, because all hacks mess with the files which is against the TOS. They're all illegal, but because the ones they sell they get profit from, and Z8 losses money, these are a higher priority.

I'm pretty sure they are not breaking any law as the hacks only modify things client side, not server side.

It may be a free FPS, Buuut, they still own the RIGHTS to the files, and any modification without permission IS against the law.

Well, actually in combat arms they went to court and shut down 2 other hack websites. Then again combat arms is high power in free games. I saw them at a lot of conventions and stuff at booths advertising CA.

youre wrong, hackers buy zp thats why z8 dont ban them, they dont care about losing if they are also going to gain

negative. lots of hacks get banned from combat arms (a lot more popular for hackers). I see hacks with nx all the time in the game and they get banned over and over. I'd think it's no different for CF. that's liek immunity for bribing.

if you type in to google crossfire one of the top searches are 'crossfire hacks' so obviously shows that a lot of the community hacks.

Hahhaha that's amasing. Imagine if more people hack than play crossfire. That would be impossible. Soon Z8 would give into hakers and start making Hak offers for ZP.

Or they will renew theit contract with nProtect Game Guard and make a better (more expensive) contract which would mean they would have to actually use multiple computers instead of eat cheesburgers while sitting on their milk shakes wondering where it went.

Nexon is very good at sueing people. Thats good for Combat Arms, but bad for Maplestory.
