Hey im running a compaq persario f700 laptop
ram: 2gb
proccesor: AMD Turion 64 x2 1.9ghz
video card: NIVIDIA Geforce 7000m

Now the RECOMMENDED computer specs for CF are 2.0ghz and a 6600 geforce. Well mine beats 6600.. But i only get around 28-36 in a 8v8. what is wrong with my computer.. I should be getting close to 60 in a 8v8 right?

With your processor that isn't bad but try this:

It's called GameBooster.
Run it and click on "Switch To Gaming Mode!"
and close any program not related to microsoft.

You will get more FPS with that.
And if it doesn't help set your "Graphics Quality" to "Medium" or "Low" and you will
get more FPS.

i use gamebooster sadly enough and all my graphics are turned to low. all i have on is blood.

Hmmm, weird.

Try cCleaner.

Or update all of your drivers from the developers website.

What is your OS?

Vista 32 bit. Im trying to update my video driver right now (11 minutes till DL is done) hopefully this will work, if not im stuck on these fps till i get a new comp QQ. I have a xp cd sitting right next to me only problem is downgrading can be very very very bad for my hard drive and my drivers.

well vista blows

xp is much better

and you can downgrade without affecting your Hard Drives

lol, well heres the story on my computer. i had vista, no anti virus. mesed up my computer re-formatted with windows 2000 and couldnt use any operating system. went and bought xp gave it to geek squad they put drivers on it etc etc. than when i wanted to reformat my HD i went and did it and all my drivers were gone. bought vista cd from compaq and than my hard drive corrupted so than i had to buy a new hard drive. lol

are u sure it is oot compaq persario f700 CTO notebook PC? (added CTO)

Vista is heavy on your notebook with your specifications.
But, downgradeing will be your last solution.
If you are willing to downgrade i might be able to help you with thedrivers
and Dreambomber will help you with installing xp.

I have no anti virus

am running Xp Pro

Geek Squad (Failed Company) Dont Use Them

and if you reformat of course your gunna loose drivers cause the HD is Blank

and as i said you can overwrite your current OS with Xp im sure of it

ya i know lol im just fail at times. i just updated my video card drivers so im gunna see if that helps
