Need help badly
Well some days I go I pressed on Crossfire and the gameguard came. Then it freezed. And i lagged badly. Then i redled it tryed nothing happend. Then i tryed to redl again and then it came with an error: File was corrupt. I could do these 3 things: Cancel, Try again and Ignore. I have tryed alot of stuff and it wont let me play

Got 2 Firewalls. The one from XP (normal) And one from Avg 9.0 Free Edition.

if you have a anti-virus fire wall your windows one is canceled out and the avg one takes over
1. open avg
2. click tools
3. click advanced options
4. look for resident sheild and open it and go into Exceptions
5. click add path
6. go to C:/windows > program files > G4box click ok
7. apply and then ok and your firewall will let it through
if your file is corrupt u need to reinstall or download from another mirror and reinstall or get a reigsty fixer to fix the problem

EDIT: Had around 188 errors i will try and redl. And see if its work

Also check, if you got all Windows Updates installed -> Service Pack3?
Ensure, that Crossfire.exe, Gameguard.mon and Gameguard.des files got full access through your firewall and turn your Antivirus program off for the Installation.

These Steps should help you, to run your Crossfire smoothy again

Try getting the crossfire files and folders from a friend.
Disable the other firewall and stick to the xp one.(lesser issues)
Just uninstall the Firewall then uninstall CF and reinstall CF ONLY.
Make sure you add crossfire and game guard to the exception list on the firewall.
If you need a tutorial video please inform me and i will make one.
