In case you can't understand what I'm pointing out and you still think that they didn't say they were going to IP ban Brazil, how about you read these quotes that CLEARLY explain it three times:
"Today we are announcing an evolution in the NA/UK version of Cross Fire with the introduction of IP restrictions for players outside North America and The UK."
and
"Soon, Cross Fire services under Z8games will be restricting newly created accounts made through IP addresses outside our North American and UK regions from accessing the game."
and
"after these restrictions are enabled, players outside of the NA/UK region may still be able to make an account on Z8Games.com, but they may not be able to access the Cross Fire servers.
last time I checked, North America and the United Kingdom did not include South America. -

last time I checked, North America and the United Kingdom did not include South America.
apparently, there is no SA gaming company that can afford CF. Otherwise z8 would have IP restricted SA because Smilegate was considering placing a version there. As it is, we just have to make do. -

Here are some steps to proper crisis management.
1. Express remorse/concern
2. Apologize
3. Take responsibility
4. Take measures to avoid repeat incidents
I don't see where calling your audience ignorant fits into this. Maybe MODs should have some PR knowledge and not be chosen arbitrarily.
And in response to your question, blocking EU regions isn't the issue, it's NOT blocking SA. People think you're leaving BR's alone because they spend more money. They will continue to think this until you provide them with information to the contrary. And if you think that improving gameplay will not give more people confidence to invest in this game and spend more money, then you obviously have no mind for business. -
And here I thought we finally have a answer to reduce the hacking.
(silly me thinking they had the guts to do it)
Instead the non-NA/UK players that resorted to hacking in defiance to the news (that they misread) that non-NA/UK player won't be able to make new accounts, will still be here hacking with nothing to stop them.
Great Job, now there is more hackers rather then less. -

If CF have a BR server, that will attract more BRs to crossfire. These BRs will STILL play in other servers, and of course hack. BRs come in UK servers all the time, so obviously they don't want low ping. They get like 500 in UK.
And once a hacker always a hacker. don't think they'll just stop because they have lower ping.
