Moderators closing thread about some recent events on ip restriction's is terrible ppl have a right to discuss what's going on in the game some have problably paid a lot money into over past few year's plz dont close thread just to "shut them up" people are worried confused. I myself am wondering what's going on im not sure the reason for these implication's banning ip's of new players, dosent seem like a great buissness strategy however maybee z8 were forced to obtain licenses im not sure. Id appreciate a frank and full expanation for anyone who know's thing's about such matter's. So guy's reading this keep the trolling to a minimum mod's are obv desperate to close such thread's let's keep it matture, and see if we can get some answer's thanx guys///

it was just wrong , myself as a portuguese i know alot of brasilian , and midlle east teams , that put alot of money into this game , i even know a midlle east LAN team that wanted to achieve something competitive on this game , same as BR's team
they probably spended alot of money too , what if they make a new alt acc today to try a team out?

Im reopening this on the case that there is no proper discussion thread.
I expect this to be kept clean with NO "conspiracy theories" about money or whatnot. This was forced upon this version because of multiple reasons.
Brazil is not blocked and it was never announced that it would be. It was an assumption made by the community. Also, since G4Box acquired a licence for South America, they never will be blocked from this version.
The second this thread goes downhill, im closing it. This is your only warning -

Life's tough grow up, more devastating have happened in my life and others but you gotta man up. Its just a game, and i know it means something to you. But it should only mean something, not everything.
Ok,now post something useful that could actually be used in this discussion. People dont need a life lesson from someone who probably hasn't experienced life itself.
OT: Yeah I'm guessing the lisences where a bit hard to obtain. Then again maybe is wasn't worth the hassle paying for places that probably didn't really contribute $$. This is a bussiness after all. -

Just because only the license for SA was announced, doesn't mean that Smile Gate doesn't have licenses acquired for those areas. They might have plans for something over there, who knows? However it would be of no concern to G4Box, since their license only applies to the UK, hence why there was no announcement of any EU licenses. -

I mean people who ping like 20 are restricted while people who ping 200+ arent honestly?
Why not make ip restrictions for example for brasilians as well till their server comes?
Nice they have plans for EU but people spent so much money/time w.e on their accounts and i highly doubt they would allow to transfer accounts IF there is coming a eu version
also the fact that they advertise this game in a european country (gamescom germany) and then ip restrict this game for eurpeans is just ****ed up

the ammount of complaints iv seen today about why was X country banned, or why x county wasent banned is rediclious.
yes it is not a good bunisness idear restricting ips, but getting taken to court for distributing a game where you have no licence is an even worse stratagy.
z8 didnt whant this, they were forced to make the restrictions. -
I see and am glad why they banned the Br's. However I have no idea why they banned the Europeans from the European server. I mean in geographical terms, its almost the same as a cali kid playing in the east server.

But that means more laggers, no one wants those. Just make alt accounts if you live in UK and give it to them. Or wait for new servers. -

more laggers? plenty turks already play but not competitively, making an acount for someone wont work the server wil recognise there ip as being restricted, im pretty sure they thought through ppl making accounts for other ppl in countrys eu community is very close gaming community everyone knows everyone would be to easy to do ...i may be wrong -

no , mate , honestly think ima quit cf or give it up for a week and dedicate to real life , competitive players do alt acc's often to try new teams out or get a few guns. what about us? -

most ppl have an alt already if you dont cheat on it they be fine, accounts previously created are fine, so 1 for your team 1 for trying out w/e.. 90% of competitive players have alts and if they dont there was a deadline to make one mate... -
