IP Restrictions for Cross Fire
IP restrictions are now in effect for the Z8Games version of Cross Fire. The ability to play with new accounts from areas outside of the green regions on the map below are now disabled. All pre-existing accounts (so long as the character was created on the account prior to August 3rd) remain unaffected by this change.
You may continue to register accounts on Z8Games but you will not be able to access Cross Fire game servers with those new accounts if your IP location is in the red areas on the following map.

Quick FAQ for some early questions.
Q: If I am from Europe (or any region in red) can I still play Cross Fire NA/UK?
A: Yes as long as your CrossFire character was made on or before August 3rd, 2011 you should be fine to play.
Q: If my account was made before August 3rd but I never logged in to the game with it, will I still be able to play?
A: No, while your account was still made before the 3rd, you would have had to log in to the game to physically register the account with the game. Therefore if no character was created on the account it will not be able to access the servers regardless of the day it was created on.
Q: Will I be able to make a new account if I am from Europe?
A: You can make a Z8Games account, however access to the server from IP's in the red areas above will be denied.
Q: Why didn't you block South American IPs?
A: Server IP restrictions are based on the Licenses for Cross Fire. G4Box/Z8Games has acquired the license for South America and are planning to introduce service for this region in the future.

Maybe by doing this we will not have as many hackers coming in a ruin'n our games. They are still going to be around but hopefully not as bad. Appreciate what you guys are doing for the loyal players of this game! Kinda a let down that BR's are going to still be play'n bc they the worse hackers that i have seen. But we will deal just like always. Thx guys for being so caring of our thoughts an gaming exp. Liquid*Core

Saying that Brazilian players would still be able to play and that you had acquired the license for that region? I am unaware of such a post.
That was not announced at that time. However it was irrelevant to the blocking of IPs. Which have been restricted due to licensing contracts of the various versions of the game. And not because (any of) the companies wanted to restrict players. -
Yes, but Saidin, UK isn't even the problem.
Brazil is the one who always come out with hecks. They're the ones who are always a trouble.
Basically, you guys are saying you enjoy hecks being here since nothing is done.
It's a better alternative to trying to restrict them. That would only give them more cause to cheat.
Now they can have their own game to screw themselves in. -

Your boss fails at his/her job.
I'm so annoyed I want to spurt out many many racist comments right now. But I won't.
I will simply uninstall CF. -

I will simply uninstall CF.quitting again. restricts eu and asia rofl instead of South america. epic fail of the year 2011 nothing said. I guess money is more important over a good game play.
Yall just mad, you will be back. -

Not wanting to restrict the players was something I understood from the first. However, now, of all times to announce that you had acquired a license for South America. Is just a letdown. To hide that in such a sneaky manner too, you're like a politician Saidin. I guess your position does call for a bit of that sort of work from time to time I guess. Regardless, please do not let this turn into another UK server disaster and have us wait a year for this to happen.
