Hardscoping or not, the point of this game is either to get frags in a pub or win as a team in leagues. The way you do it dosnt matter, at the end of the day, you<re either a nerd or a superhero.

Yup, And you will never make them happy anyway.

I played Alaska 1v1 (yea they wanted that map) I used the AWM for a few rounds and he called me a "AWM noob", so I switched to PSG "Sniper noob, can't use a real gun", So I used a K2 "noob gun" and then a UZI and got called "noob".

In fact I used all guns and he still wasn't satisfied with his 2/13 defeat.

  • • Even 70Kg hardscopes. why are people mad these days.
  • I don't only hardscoope, when I hear that somebody comes from somewhere, I wait for him, but if somebody appears suddenly in front of me, I do quickscoope.
But they kick me for hardscooping...

Take this 30 lbs sniper filled with bullets that weight about 2 lbs each. 2x5= 10+30= 40 lbs. Along with the weight of the ammo that you are carrying and the backpack with all your needs along with heavy boots and a helmet. So let's say for argument.... Around 100 lbs...

To be able to qs in real life, you have to be very strong, then you have to have your scope adjusted properly for any range (which is impossible to do within 2 seconds) and then shoot without the gun flying off your hand or face-gun yourself. Not to mention the wind currents and other anomalies.

So yeah.. Go ahead and try to quick scope, lemme know if you can or not... xD

the distances in crossfire are less than 100m for the most part. bullet drop isn't an issue.

the awm only weighs 14 lbs, and the bullets don't weigh anywhere close to 2 lbs each. have you ever shot a rifle?

quick scoping would be equivalent in my mind of skeet or clay shooting with a scope.

    impossible is nothing

  • you should only quickscope as a reaction shot, otherwise you need to be hardscoping

Those videos are irrelevent since two are pistols and the other is an old fat man shooting nails at about 10 feet.

Quickscoping would be nothing like skeet shooting. Usually, theyre already aiming down the sights.
Theyre also generally using rifles or shotguns. Not massive long range sniper rifles with a kickback that would blow their face off if they tried quickscoping with it.

    ^ This.

    Watch its recoil.

    ^ This.

we aren't talking about a .50 cal here, the awm is a .300 cartridge

i've shot this many a time

That wouldnt really matter for such a high velocity weapon :/

Look at the recoil of the AWM when its sturdily mounted and fired. Imagine how that thing would be, lazily handled (as it would be when you took 1 second to aim it at your general face area) and fired without even the slightest proper aim.

Quickscoping wouldnt be possible in the way they are in games if at all.

    Because games are 100% realistic

so if i am already aiming my rifle and then i look down the scope and fire, it is impossible?

you can aim a rifle before you look down the sights

in cf your gun is already aiming when you are unscoped. it is not being lazily handled.

FPSRussia did a 360 noscope so it's not impossible like you think it is. It would just be extremely stupid to do in a real life combat situation lol

^That video has almost 3 million views, I'm subscribed to FPSRussia his videos are awesome.

*edit* forgot we were talking about quickscoping lawl. same general idea though
  • Thats hardly a quickscope. The title doesnt even say quickscope. I know who FPSRussia is. Id love to have seen how many takes he did before he even hit something... assuming he hit something in the first clip.

Im talking about quickscoping. By soldiers. Where they are being shot at. Using heavy sniper rifles and firing shot after shot with pinpoint accuracy. There are no crosshairs irl to aim before scoping and firing before you even see down the scope.

"Hardscoping" is what snipers are meant for.

so it went from "that is impossible" to "i am talking about real life soldiers doing it"

    1) aim rifle at target without looking down the scope
    2) look down the scope make small adjustment with in 1 second
    3) fire

    OMG I QUICKSCOPED

i am a horrible shot, but i am sure i could pull this off consistently with enough practice

    sadly ammunition is rather expensive.

    I never said impossible :P

As stated from our XFire chat we had a different view on what quickscoping was =3
