R.o.c

Dear R.O.Cs, past and present, and to friends or foes,
Finally R.O.Cs competitive streak under the reins of RuFuS draws to a close and as I had already stated that this was to be my last competitive tournament in Crossfire. Life at present is far too demanding, and simply the commitment of WOGL or such every Sunday is too much in itself, and too little in the way of being a successful e-sports team. I'm passing on the Leadership of R.O.C to the players and with it they can do as they wish.
It has been a pleasure and we went out in style with a gruelling 4 hour battle vs Connex Clan, they played fantastic and took it by a round in the end after 2 map ties. Clearly we can't keep up the old "a game a week" standard to be the best any more and it's about damn time we were beaten for doing such!
I bid you all Crossfire farewell - R.O.C will be as open as ever, just alot less active in Crossfire (until a new leader who time to commit and organise appears) however will without doubt spread out to enjoy other games for fun.
As for myself - I'll still be arranging R.O.C parties with my friends, but alot less active in the gaming world full stop! Time to grow up huh?
Ladies and Gents, it has been an absolute pleasure!

Just wanna let people know whats happening atm, dont ask me questions like, whats going to happen to R.O.C , are you going to disband , and sh1t like that because. tbh i dunno nothing yet.

Alex was an amazing leader whenever his leadership was required, pulling ROC out of a lot of tough situations but it seems this incident deemed too much (without Erik, me, lack of practice and not to mention the lack of time Alex and the team have been playing crossfire) Let's be honest here: a practice a week like we did back in s1 just doesn't cut it anymore as our shots and teamwork are bound to deteriorate over lack of use. Conn3xx really deserved that win.
It's a shame Alex is leaving to be honest, but better and bigger things are calling from the real world. Hopefully we'll be able to have one last ROC party before Doughnie leaves. Alex should pop on mumble/xfire sometime for a chat ^^.
As of now, the future of ROC doesn't appear to be going anywhere. However, we'll most likely have a team meeting sometime in the near future to discuss this problem. -
Owwww ROC my favourite clan of my Cf time. There couldnt have anything better happen in the time i played. At the end we where ****ed from our lazynes. Just playing Sunday and some scrims during the week doesnt work anymore. Teams have really stepped up there gameplay. IMO it worked out for the EU side of this game. I can remember when we palyed Consensus for the first time in esl, we got destroyed but that gave us the power to put time in CF together and work on us as a Team and on our shots and Booooom we beat them. I think thats the same with the other Teams they wanted to beat us and they put time and effort in CF and now the most of EU Teams are very good. Rufus was rly a nice Leader , thats what u need. There where many many PPL in ROC over the time but at the end the best stayed or got the Stamina to do it.

Hasch, re-make Bad Taste :]
Seriously do it -
Good luck guys, ye definetely are the main people behind the improvements in this side of the game. Its really just a pity that ye never got to go on stage and perform against the other versions [kive + xerath with 1 ping!!!!!!!!]. I agree with Phenatik, legends never die. And ROC are definetely on the highest tier of the Legends Ladder. Best of luck in real life RuFuS, always had some good [although fiesty ] chats with you over the years. Hopefully ROC can stick together and rebound for next season.

Dr.Rufus is irreplaceable player of roc, as well as leader. These several months ive played in roc, rufus has arranged games etc, also kept things chilll.
So far its definitely been best team ive ever been in CF, not just cause everyone in roc are awesome players but more importantly awesome friends.
dXe was nice team as well, but by the time I left dXe I was about to have a break / end competive playing in CF and dXe's practise schedule just was too much for old guy like me, im almost 13, i couldnt have keep up on theyr schedule. -

What to say really, if everything has been said. Al I want to thank you that you always supported and helped me , whenever I had a new idea to improve the EU scene, or when we sat down doing strats . And if it wasn"t because of you and your support i wouldnt have been WOGL director. As an ex member the ROC expierence was one of the best in my egame career. Its time for new guys to step up and become the new big thing. I wish you the best of luck in your life and hope to once drink a beer with you! Yours truly [ROC]Fox aka WOGLMarty(pants) -

Ohboy, Rust knows my name, i feel honoured.
So with R.O.C on the downfall, who in the EU scene will fill their shoes? -
at the top: Seals (if they don't fall apart) and perhaps Connexx
mid-top: Subconscious, Sakge and Deluxe - these teams can definitely fill in some gaps left by the departure of CNS and maybe ROC in the near future if they step up their game.
It's both a shame and a victory, from my perspective, leaving like this, with our roster having been at its weakest probably for the past season up until now. A victory because we were able to lay out a path for future teams to follow and it's been a pleasure with the guys . I'm not putting Connexx's win down or anything; they certainly deserved it. Looking at the situation, it definitely wasn't ideal on our behalf. That's the way it is sometimes: real-life opportunities rising, a lack of interest in one thing and then being sparked in another.
I just wish we were able to play with our strongest team.
