Name Change?

Hello recently I was playing Crossfire and used an in-game name change. Shortly after I decided I wanted my name back. However I noticed that my name was unavailable. I know that it wasn't taken by A different player (I had some friends test some things with name changes) So I came to the conclusion that when you change your name your old name stays unavailable.
Sooooo.... Is there anyway that anyone knows that I can change my name back to my origanol name or is it forever gone?

Your old name is reserved for like one day, until the database updated itself.
After that, your old name should be available for you again
