Well i decided to make this thread because i am seeing alot of negativity towards the Mayhem.tv casters. Now it does not matter how good you cast there is always going to be players who are not going to like it. So let me tell you one thing casting a cf matches is really hard an difficult , the action is fast and the maps are relatively small. I hear alot of ppl say casters talk to much this is because if ur casting you do not want it to be boring and you think
In your head when i am not talking its boring next to this nervousity is a big factor. When you are put on the spot like that and you have 300-700 vieuwers you will be nervous but practice makes perfect. One other thing that I want to add saying casters suck does not help at all ATLEAST they are casting because besides WOGL.tv Mayhem.tv and Davids casts i havent seen anyone els cast. So stop pointing fingers of how bad people are and start motivating them to improve or pick up a mic and do it yourself, and when you do that you will

No, the problem is the bias. I can understand them full and well, and I can understand them for the most part. The Mayhem.tv casters are biased. Simple as that. I don't put it past them, I mean continent/country pride and whatnot, but watching a cast where the main caster doesn't recognize an NA ace (PL IIRC) but does recognize an EU ace (kromE IIRC) is kind of dissapointing [infuriating even]. They would be great casters if they put in the kind of energy when shoutcasting the NA side as they do the EU side. Until that happens, I won't be watching their shoutcasts.

I accutaly forgot to add my advise on the Mayhem casts and that i casted the ROC vs Excel WOGL EU finals last season.
First off guys your doing a really great job casting these matches if you want to get real serious with it i would buy a better mic and work on being neutral in matches. And i do not know if its possbile but maybe lower that accent o Boo for just a bit

I love watching the casts, and my only advice is this:
Don't read out the scores... Will and Boo both did that, read out every single player's score, then we lost a whole round of the game plus was very iritating.
All you need to mention is maybe the 2 top fraggers for both teams, then get back to the game if something interesting is happening. If not mention whoever else you think is doing good, bad etc. -

I'd just like to point out that the Roc v xl match was one of the worst casts i've ever seen. Bobby stuffing his face and getting everyones name wrong was far better. I'm sorry but you're English isnt good enough to cast, aswell as you were stuttering half the time. Then there was a completely ROC biased approach : Rufus 'The Aug Master' , Doughner 'Best sniper in Europe' , Phong 'The Sneaky Ninja'. All this sort of crap. My favourite part however is when you say that Xerath is one of the best clutchers in this game when he's in a 1v5 situation. 3 rounds later phong's in a 1v3 and you say 'if anyone in ROC can clutch, its phong'. I mean.............make your mind up. Doughner gets a 2k and you bust his balls, Alexc gets a 3k and it isnt even mentioned. Yeaa............gj.
On boo + all3, I think they're doing a really good job. Maybe Boo sounds like a drunken pirate but at least he puts energy into it and keeps the cast going. Not his fault that he's from Scotland. There'll also be a tough job finding casters that know as much about Na and Eu and to be completely passive. -

Im kinda done with having you on my back with every single post i make. Nooo clue what I did to you and no clue what you got against me. I was in ROC at the time the casts was what do you expect from me , I did not had any practice and had 700 vieuwers, my english is fine I was just really neverous. If it was not for me there would not have been a cast. Hopefully these finals it will be better

david's voice is definitely not casting material and he's better off not changing his killmarks to pokemon killmarks

To my freinds here in this thread, cheerz lad's for all the positiveness from you guy's make the cast's worth doing. And also myself and all3 like to hear what you guys would like to have going during the show, you know, what you like, what you dont, after all this is for my eu commuinty so as long as i keep getting the figure's in then im happy. Ye i saw someone mention em my mic guys tbh my mic is really clear ect in vent/mumble w/e its something were working we cant put our finger on it atm same with in game sound audio few problems, but give us a few more casts we'll hit the nail on the head. Just to let you guys know were just about to go over to live hd so you willl see a vast improvment in audio and video. Guys im boo this is way i talk, you all know me for long time you really think im gonna change my accent for a fun cast, no chance scottish and proud...ppl saying i sound like a drunk pirate i actualy quite like that, this cast gets ppl talking and generates a bit of intrest among us all, wether its good stuff bout boo or bad stuff idc as ong as your talking about mayhem tv im happy. So ye the score board thing ye i already changed that if you saw from the seals cast last night....Also im inviting star guests everyweek that are know in cf hit me up if you wanna jump on and chill with me live and talk some **** then your welcome, makes my job easier im bit lazy unless im in the mood blitzed and rufus did a great job for me last night so ty guys let me actualy sit back and enjoy the game. Guys i said in a previous post to this think of this as a pirate radio station, not like radio1, hope you understand what i mean. I do it for a laugh, im not interested in being professional at this moment, i enjoy being me and not some presenter with a script. @David i watched part of your cast well listened actually, i ejoyed it im not gonna lie, this isnt a competition 2 guy's generating a bit of intrest for the communitys gj imo. He get's very excited and constant i think the american's love it. We have a more laidback fun approach. If you wanna come have a chinwag with me well a tech-talk bout some stuff taht'd be great x-fire me...

Completely agree. I always said suggest, don't complain. I wanted to improve and I did get the feedback I want. Am I the best now? NO. Do I need to improve? YES. But will I feel motivated to improve if everybody wants to be an ass about it. NO. Just learn to respect what we do as casters and why we do it.

ill take your challenge... ive casted before and to be honest your just making excuses right now... regardless of the excuses I have no problem with the casts or the castors -
I could honestly care less about the casters. The only thing I don't like about the casters of mayhemtv, is that they're extremely biased.
Like I said, I honestly don't care what the casters say about the gameplay or what killmarks they have, like some people rant about. As long as they don't make the cast biased, then it's a +1 for them.
