Guys, I got 2 problems.. help me out here :)

1. On my laptop, whenever I start Crossfire, I get the screen with the announcements. But here's the thing. The thing stays white, and whenever I wanna click on it there's a small circle (loading) above my cursor. I can't close it. You guys know what to do?

2. So my first laptop apparently can't run Crossfire. I try it on my other laptop, still no results. After I start Crossfire and see that little Game Guard screen a blanc pop-up appears, with nothing in it. What to do?

P.S: Both laptops CAN run Crossfire. They are about 2 months old.

1. Simple answer: Ensure, that Crossfire.exe, Gameguard.des and Gameguard.mon files got full access through your firewall and add a Exception into your Antivirus program, if that Error still appears.
2. Delete your Gameguard folder in your Crossfire directory.
The missing files should be automatically repatched, when you start your Game the next time.
If it doesnt work, uninstall your game.
After that download the Game again from the Mirrors or Alternative Download Mirrors on the website, or when these Mirrors dont work for you, try it with this Mirror.
Also see on 1.) what you need to do with your firewall and your Antivirus Program. In this case you dont need a Exception, just turn your Antivirus program off for the Installation.

Check your internet connection.
The empty popup is because another version of crossfire is already running.
Just click ctrl+alt+dlt and see if Crossfire.exe, Gameguard.des or Gameguard.mon
are running and close them then try again.

The blank announcment is because of your internet, most likely it is slow or not connected.
*Thinking* (hmmm but if it wasn't connected then it would say "Failed to download version.ini")
Anyway ill ask a couple of friends for you.
