Hey once i logged in and joined alpha the game went frozen after 15 secounds and just d/c after another 15 and i cant start cf again with out restarting my computer
Only happend to me once ill say if it happens again and also whats the progress of the black screen after match problem as its no longer in sticky?

Try to reinstall your game, by using the Download or Alternative Download Mirrors on the website and ensure, that Crossfire.exe, Gameguard.mon and Gameguard.des got full access through your firewall and turn your Antivirus off for the Installation.
For the Gametime, add a exception in your Antivirus program, that Crossfire and its files wont get interupted by your Antivirus program.
If you got Windows Vista / Windows 7, run the Setup and the Gamestart as Administrator.

If you still get a Error, let me know please

Hey Dreambomber...could you quit copy and pasting the same old advice about this black screen of death remedy...IT DOESN'T WORK.. for this problem. I have tried removing and re- downloading with all sorts of configurations and it still does not rememdy the big problems that so many are having right now with the game. The best news i've heard so far was by Saidin and he said they are aware of the problem and are working on a rememdy.
