Z8Games Closes 1000+ Accounts
Attention Legitimate Cross Fire Soldiers!
Today we are here to announce that after a long investigation on many accounts we have closed 1000 accounts in Cross Fire because they were breaking our Terms and Conditions.
*please note* This is in addition to the regular daily systems and checks we do.
We always strive to maintain the best quality of life for the game. This includes improving our autoban and hack detection software as well as working with X-trap on a near-daily basis to stop the latest malicious programs from entering in to our game.
These bannings combined with recent updates to X-Trap are just proof that Z8Games continues to take the situation within its games seriously and that we'll stop at no lengths to do our part to maintain a quality of life in the game.
It should be noted here that you should keep your account secure. Any player who is able to play on your account that is not you MAY break our rules. And as such, get the account banned. There is nothing we can do about this. If more than 1 person uses the account, or it is shared, and breaks our rules we hold the account responsible.
Do not give your password or account information to anyone. Do not use hacking programs and make sure to regularly scan your computer for keyloggers and other malware/viruses.

I was told in a Support ticket replay that people that name changed are hard to get caught, but I'm sure you guys have log's of wh'os old IGN it is and what not.. am I right?
Also I'm glad to see them banned, but in other way auto-perm banning them with the detection system will make the game more cleaner than just a 7day ban. This will make the people not hack again on the same account and hopefully not seeing them again. -

Recently, under presumption.
Last time there was a mass closing of accounts, over 6000 were banned in all.
Yes, but this actually were just of a month because of the detection system wasn't it? For me that was a big number not this 1k. Plus I wonder how many high ranks were there, probably 100. -
only 1000 accounts is that very little of the number of cheaters in this game are truly disappointed
I can talk about VIP hack that can be started / stopped anytime and can not be detected problems are really worrying, but for whom?
speed hack to be especially active 6 consecutive months without being stopped. I am a big vote against x-trap -

I think perm-banning them instead of 7day temp ban will work more, I know it helps logs the hacks, but your giving them chances for hacking???? -

stop complaining people atleast it shows they are doing SOMETHING goodness... Thank Saidin for at least letting us know you did something knowing that you didn't have to let us know -
Great Job z8games!
The whole community should appreciate this instead of complaining about that there are still hackers left. Of course there are and there will always be... no matter what we/z8games do.
There is one thing that is making me feel a bit frustrated... I am playing at the UK Servers and 900 of those 1000 players were supposed to be playing on US South Server, if you know what I mean
So nothing to pop some bottles on UK

well its just my felling but i th ink there are about 5000 more hackers somewhere in the ggame
i daylie meet approximately 1 obvious hacker per 1 game
and i play about 10 games a day...
and it is very rare that i meet one and the same hacker twice, so that means i find 10 obvious hackers (mostly speedhackers) a day
so that makes about 300 different hackers a month whom i find..
well these are just the obvious hackers... i dont want to know the pro hacker, those who hack very carefully....
i really hope, that this number of thousand is not from counting from the start of the year but from the start of the month

The auto ban and auto detect systems lead to a permanent ban as of March this year. Less than 3 months after the system was implemented. -
if someone is banned, and i search him/her up in player search, will their name still show up?
Example: ***XX was banned in the 1k person ban
But if i search him up it still says last play date 7/13/11
Last play dates are not always an indication of whether or not the person is banned.
My suggestion here would be to spend less time searching up players who you think should be banned and more time finding legit player to have fun with in game.
Considering the situation in game is not nearly as grim as the majority assumes it is (also the reason why we continue to get countless false hack reports). You'd probably have more fun with friends than spending time searching up potential hackers.
