Real Life Egos

Is it just me or when kids lose in game they automatically say "I would love to meet you in real life"? In my opinion its just pathetic. On game forums there should be trash talk, that's half the game, handling the pressure and then still preforming. I have allot of respect for LPK, and others, that talk shiit and win. Lifeline not so much, sure they are a good team but they act like they are perfect, if you are good and know it you should have an ego. I cant wait to see suko e.c.t go to LAN, obviously not to compete but because they're such e-thugs.
OHWAIT they're not going.

Half of what you said didn't make sense, suko and such won't show up to lan because what kind of a person would show up to lan knowing full well they'd get jumped.
  • if i lived in the US i would go to that lan just to see who has the balls to back up his mouth

drop the ego and get back into your little pub

ot: you're obviously just as oblivious as your little buttbuddy suko

i don't have a problem with admiting i pub, unlike you, who failed at other games and as such was reduced into acting like a pro gamer on a F2P game, so maybe its you who should drop the ego. Oh and next time mind your own business.
  • mmm huge egos, trashtalk over video games is quite sad.

been to a bunch of LAN parties with a halo 3 team when I was like 14-15 and played on a somewhat competitive level on halo 3, scrimmed mw2 and cod4 (not as much as mw2) on console too.

You disappoint me when you said MW2.

If you played Halo 1 on XBox in tourneys, you may have met my sister's boyfriend once or twice.
  • i don't think this thread was necessary
  • Another post with my name in it! Bwahaha. You kiddies take everything I say seriously... Why would I actually waste money on the plane ticket to see a bunch of nerds play crossfire? Rofl.....

The gun choices are extremely limited in most tourneys, as are perks and what-nots.

    Still a terrible game, however.
  • nothing wrong with sh1t talking, I don't get why you people get so raddled over the internet about it especially, as far as saying it to people on lan it doesn't make a difference, honestly you people are pathetic. When I play hockey, i am definitley a sh1t talker even though i'm not even a "big guy," it just matters whether you can back it up with performance in the thing you are actually playing. By the end of the game we all shake hands and say GG despite all the sh1t talk we exchanged. You people need to stop being butt hurt.

Word. I do the same thing when I play football.

Talking trash is pivotal part of most sports, whether they're 'e', or athletic based.
Most of it's bravado, with the intention of either out-psyching your opponent through intimidation, or to get the crowd going, with the latter being much more common in contact sports, such as UFC, or boxing.

Most forums would be pretty boring if everyone was polite to each other. This is the Internet, not England.

At the time it was basically the game to play, it's still a load of fun playing it with friends. A lot of people of the teams I used to play with just quit the game or broke their xbox.

I have played Halo 2 a lot, shame they took it offline. But no, I haven't played an incredible amount of Halo: CE, but it sure is an amazing game, with a pistol being a really great gun. I switched over to Call of Duty because a friend told me that I should try it out. Played with a bunch of great guys and eventually started playing it more. I'm only like second prestige though, dislike most pubs due to idiotic players. I didn't stop playing Halo though, amazing game.

Also, assuming, because you're posting on a CrossFire forum and I have seen you ingame a couple of times, you play CrossFire, do you play this game because of its amazing gameplay/coding? I wouldn't say so, it's more likely because you have met cool people on here and you have fun playing with them. It was exactly like that playing MW2.

I'd be a hypocrite if I were to say I haven't enjoyed some MW2 with friends every now and then.

To an extent, I mean as far as CrossFire's concerned, I only enjoy playing with friends these days, or E8 if I'm up at night. But you're right, I believe most any game can be enjoyable, if you're playing with the right people.

In hockey you can also drop your gloves and shut people up. It isn't the sh!t talking that is a problem, it's the lack of respect in my opinion. Like you said, hockey players say GG afterwards and shake hands, "leaving it on the ice". In CF the talking never ends.

    Words of wisdom right there....
  • you know how they say 4chan is a hate machine?
z8games forums is a gossip machine.
  • Pointless threads posted to start a flaming war are obvious.
  • Trash talking is supposed to be a joke imo, even though you might be able to back it up. And in most cases people are just joking around, but i feel that sometimes it's taken too far in the sense that it doesn't stop after the scrim, just like the other people said about hockey and such.

Technically there is no talking in-game. Just tro........saying.

I guess in your dictionary theirs no words relating to sportsmanship or respect
  • I've been to LAN for console games, around Chicago, Ohio, Kentucky and Kansas. No one fight's, no one argue's, because if you fight, you're thrown out. The only thing that happens at LAN is trash talk and bottomfragging from those trash talkers. The good people don't even bother to speak to anyone they don't like.

    That's because console's casual.
