When you think someone is hacking...
I visit these forums a fair amount and im amazed how many "OmG HaCKeR!" threads there are. I play this game a fair amount (about 6 - 12 games a day) and I rarely EVER see a hacker (I don't play GM so I don't personnally know how that is), and I get my fair share of hackusations aswell. So the next time you're in a game and you suspect someone is using hacks STOP, don't scream "HaCKeR -name- KicK F11!!!", calm down and follow these SIMPLE steps.
1. Did I recently kill one of his teammates? (I really hope you are all aware that a little x appears on the radar where a teammate has died, I keep one eye on my radar at all times)
2. Was I shooting at someone and he saw my bullet trails? (Yes, this does give you away! if you don't play with bullet trails on I highly recommend that you turn them on)
3. Could he hear me? (honestly im amazed at how many people scream hacker at someone that pops out and kills them while they're galloping around like a horse. Use your WALK key)
4. Am I camping in a frequented camping spot? (Average players memorize maps and how to get around. Good players memorize that and camping spots. The best players will do all of that and check EVERY corner, yes, EVERY corner)
5. Is one of his clan members on my team? (Clans will most likely use some form of communication i.e. Ventrillo, Teamspeak, skype ect. They will often times tell there clan member on the other team where you are if you're the last one so the game moves faster, or they don't like you, either way it happens)
If you've followed all of these steps and are still convinced that So and So is a Hacker then save the replay. Now STOP, don't submit that replay yet! Click on storage, click the pretty little replay button and watch the one you just saved. Follow all the steps mentioned above. Watch from different perspectives! Watch it from his, yours, the guy next to you, the guy next to him, and overhead.
Now if you're still sure that they're hacking read THIS THREAD.

By the time you have stopped to conssider these points you have been shot 100 times LOL
Its a fair observation (Not just for Clan matches) but misses 1 major point
People who call HACK are NOOBS and are NOT going to follow these steps
Also good honest players know when someone is cheating and DO save replays anyway
Please, on the forums at least give us some credit. We are not Noobs here ( mostly LOL)
So called Hackers are not Hackers they are simply CHEATS
They have not hacked into the game, changed the game or anything...
They just went to a dirty website and downloaded a CHEAT they have no playing skill
NO hacking skills whatsoever
I like your checklist but GOOD players dont CRY HACK they think first

It might seem like these step would take a long time to go through but, I can usually go through all of them and more scenarios in a matter of seconds. This guide is in no way trying to look down on most forumers here, as you are correct that most of the forumers are not noobs. It is mearly for the people that scream hacker everytime they die, noob and "pro" alike.
Please do not presume to think that I do not know the difference between people that actually write the hacks opposed to people that just download their work. I have taken part in writing anti-hack programs back in my mohaa days. (Medal of Honor: allied assault)
As I said before this guide isn't looking down on anyone. Its for the people that submit bogus reports to the mods because they don't think logically if the person is a hacker or not. -

Nice guide, but it's useless. I guess 75% of all "omfg he *** f11f111f11f11" don't read the forum and never read the "How to report" thread.
Screw these how-to-spot-a-hacker-guides. Just get him out. First cry, then kick, at the end (or should I say, never) check in the replay if he was really hacking.
6. "Hey, I saw him beeling but no damage!" If this happens to you, let me tell you: You/your target/you both lagged. To check your ping, press the [Tab]-Button.
7. Did this happened before? A lot of kills are based on luck. There are a lot of mysterious, non-explicable kills. But this doesn't mean that this guy is hacking! Check first if these strange things keep happening before you accuse him. -

but honestly, i think most of them don´t have the brains in order to think in such "complex" ways. -

ya but...we can report it....by savin thats game's video....so we hav an evidence to get them banned!!!!
What are you talking about!!! 99% of hacker accusers are blind to read some valuable information on this forum and you tell them to go and report people? I don't think they know how to type this forum address!!! -
Ya, all the morons who cry out HACK, etc. never read the forums.
I personally only send in reports when I'm 100% sure, yet due to the fact that they say they don't publish all the banned names, I seem to only get a small % of the people I report banned.
It's very discouraging because it takes some time for me to review the replays to be able to discribe the exact infractions.
