i heard that a computer is better than a laptob. I wanted to know how is it better and why is it better. I will getting one in the next few months and i really want to know which is better.

thanky you in advance. oh and btw im pretty sure i wont be building one anythime soon sadly so some pretty good custom built pc's and laptops.

Of course desktops are way better than laptops.. but laptops are portable.

you'll find underclocked parts in a laptop, since its made for short periods of portable computing, without generating much heat.

Also, don't forget cooling. Most laptops have poor cooling compared to the desktop bretheren.

Also a major weak point in laptops is the midsection connector to the base and monitor which destroys alot of screens from wear and tear.

Add onto the fact that they usually aren't as powerful as desktops, i merely use em for portability.

+ cost per parts
+ ability to change parts, alowing for cheaper upgrades and repairs.
+normaly more usb ports, adapter port and ect. its still posible to get a pc with a flopy disc port! ( any1 know if its posible to get a pc that can read those comodore64 huge as **** discs? lol)
+ no battries
+ laptops can decrease you manhood's army count ( no permanent effect.)
+screen size ( my bro actualy have hes pc pluged into a large tv.)
-portability
- a power surge will make you lose your data, while a laptop dont rely on wall power

Laptops are the future.

I had a ****ty desktop, I had 20-40 FPS with it, bought a new laptop for 699 euros, cpu i5 and all that, 200+ FPS.

Powerful, good cooling, portable, etc.

What more could I ask for?
