Will replays be made public?
Just curious. It isn't fun to keep public tournaments under wraps.
I use to play "this other game" competitively prior to playing crossfire. The GM's from "that other game" had the tournament replays released, stickied, and saved on the forums for the public.
Every round, after reviewing replays and making decisions, the GM's would release the replays and sticky them on the forums. It's a great idea for nub sticks and baddies to come by and learn from the veterans.

Ask the players in the games via PM or whisper in game for the replays, they are not for the forum.
As far as observations go, the drama I've seen usually occurs during the decision making, not after. So I doubt there will be too much flaming. In addition, these replays would be for the public, not just the tournament players, so it would be for the greater good in this community. Just my thoughts. -
Well replays have been posted on the forums before and its gone onto 50 odd pages of people accusing so and so of cheating "right here at round 8 dude he looks at the wall and then he goes back like he knows people are there"
Just ask the players of the game for them

i actually like the idea because it gives the community a better view of what peopel play like and gives them the right to make a decision on if they hak,etc.
if it gets out of hand,you can always close down the thread dats y we ahve so many mods now... -

If the GM's make the the legit rounds of the tournament public, I doubt the community will flame and spam. Plus, the GM's would've posted it with proper authority, rather than a tournament player making a hackusation thread whilist posting said tournament replay.
Of course I can just ask the tournament players for them, but this a public tournament, not a private tournament. It wouldn't be ethical on the GM's part. -

Considering the amount of Drama that has occurred over the smallest things just opening up all replays in one shot isn't going to be the way we go about it.
In the future we hope to improve and implement spectator mode so that people will be able to watch the matches as they happen. And then once there is something like that, releasing the replays won't be so problematic.
We may (I stress may because it might not happen this tournament) do a compelation video of some of the good kills from the replays. A highlight video if you will. But again, that is still up in the air. -

That would be a bad idea... Ghosting. If it had like a 5 minute delay, sure. But instant will just introduce ghosting. -

If there is no delay on spectator mode then it would be pointless to have it.
