Best weapons to shoot through boxes with.

I know the M4 and Mp5 are up there with the Kriss but how does Xm8 do when it comes to bursting through boxes? I've considered using Xm8 as my secondary rifle with Ak-47 Silver as my primary and AWM-Camo as my SuperAwesome Sniper

all guns go through boxes....

obviously the high damage guns do more through boxes than others like they would normally
so the ak and scar's are good i suppose...

No the power does not mean higher damage through boxes. The full damage through the boxes is not supposed to be there. Its a bug that still hasn't been fixed.

All m4 guns, mp5 guns, kriss, g36k, xm8, type 89, m700, anaconda.

It's name escapes me atm but i heard its 1 shot even through boxes

im aware that gun damage goe down through boxes
but it makes sense that higher damage would be good

In my opinion,

Any high powered, highly lethal, *** kicking gun will do when you are shooting through a crate. Though the power is reduced when shooting through crates it is still a good idea to shoot through them because the enemy won't know where you are and you get the awesome wall shot kill symbol thingy! =D

I know, it's fun =D

nope, it actualy only does 40 damage trough boxes, wich is pretty damn frustrating when you are trying to kill campers.

But certain weapons (Scar Light, AUG, and Kriss for sure) do much LESS damage.

I've noticed that with the scar light I saw a kid camping behind a box sprayed him a lot and it only did 94 or something along those lines. I still would say the M4 is no question the best box shooting gun, AWM/m700 is the most fun.

All guns lose damage going through walls. Guns however like the SCAR Light and AK47 have steeper loss in damage though unlike guns like the M4A1 and AK74. Out in the open though they do loads of damage.

the type 89 probably has the highest wallshot damage rate. it's only like 5 less than normal damage xD

Indeed the Type 89 doesn't lose much damage through walls. However, the gun was weak to beigin with. -.-`

Lol, true. But in terms of damage to the body you can't beat an M4.

I found XM8 as the post penetrateable gun in the game seriously. I spotted someone behind the boxes in Train, I sprayed like 3 bullets at the boxes and I had 2 box headshots.

In my opinion it goes to any kind of M4A1 or the Type 89 in particular which keeps most of its damage through walls.

From my seven months of experience playing this game, I find M4's by far the best to shoot through boxes and wooden walls. Scar Light just doesn't seem so good to me. I never tried with XM8 though, it's a weapon I barely played with.

g36k , xm8, mp5, all m4s, type89 these guns all shoot through boxes with 100% damage all other guns do 1/4 -1/2 depending on gun
