cross fire problem
When i was downloading crossfire patcher v5 it would bring up an error, so after the 3rd time it worked. then when i tried to play cf it would dissconnect me from the game saying hack tool detected. Well that stopped after about the third time trying to play and then it let me into the game. So now my current problem is that the game lags very very badly, its virtually unplayable now. It let me into a game at first and it played fine but then after about a minute it starts lagging very badly in every game i join. My mom switched our internet service with another company buy i dont know if that has anything to do with the problem please help!

When you say lag, if you mean lag as in the screen is very laggy, then it's your computer, if you mean lag as in, if you shoot a player they manage to tank it or other players seem to stop moving than teleport somewhere else than it is ping lag which involves the Internet connection.
To fix the FPS Lag which is the first one where explosions and such make everything on the screen seem choppy etc. You need to get a better computer, or upgrade your current one by equipping better hardware.
Even if it worked fine before, things can degrade in quality or something else on your computer may be eating up all it's processing power. So make sure you run a virus scan, malware scan, and spyware scan.
For the ping lag which is the other one, you generally can't fix it if your ping is just normally high, but you can stop spiking by keeping a clear way for the signal as in, keeping the distance and walls etc. that block the wireless connection to your computer as few as possible. Also make sure that not many other people are using your internet connection at the same time as that eats bandwidth and if it is being used to the max, you will start spiking. -
yeah, i think its my computer thats the problem, thanks!
when you first download the game scroll down and you will see minimum requirements
then take refference from that and go to your my computer icon and then in the list of icons on the left hand side click control panel and then click the icon system a window will pop up and display your hardware for you
