And normally everyone in belgium should be able to speak at least a bit french (even if there's as much hair on it as on the back of a gorilla)...It's part of the education and it's the native speech of half the country -

Philly, about 20% from al of the Flemish people understands French... While 90% should understand it. I'm lucky because I'm good in languages... But you don't want to receive the results of mathematics.... (Allthough, they where good this year!

Belgium contains three languages.That's why the language "Belgian" doesn't excist. I'd be a mix of Flemish, French and German.
Like.. 30% here in Belgium speaks French, 30% speaks Flemish, 10% speaks German and... the other 30% Probably goes to Turkish, it's just not accepted as a native language yet...
PS: I have nothing against Turkish people, don't misunderstand me, please!
PPS: My signature says "French, Flemish, Dutch and English"...

Meh, everyone that managed to finish school should be capable of understanding/speaking a bit of french, but yea, some people forget stuff almost immediately. I'll admit my french is as bad as a 5 year old banana (and I don't even like fresh bananas) and that I barely ever use it, but I can still understand written french pretty well. Not spoken french, those frenchies just rattle too fast
But I'd say 20% is a too little, maybe around 50% that would survive in France, another 20-25% that would understand a french show for 6yo kids and 25-30% that feel insulted when you say 'bonjour'. But then again, a great part of the last group consist of foreigners, who don't even speak dutch well. -
@phill: you should really come to france and like adk your way or whatever to pedestrians. Do that all day long and then go to bed.
I swear you won't find the way to fall asleep after having heard them try to speak english. They make 10 typos in a 10 word sentance and there accent just wants to make you commit suicide. Oh and they don't understand ENGLISH and barely understand american. They say the english accebt is too hard to understand Oo what the ****? It's just more musical than american. And ffs american comes from english ><.

Problem is, that duche luke is (he's a 16year old tiny ginger btw) which I've been playing with since over a year quitted just before exam-time so did his best friend luca (luca and him are no longer friends from what luca told me on fb) and the vent he had rented for 3months doesn't work anymore.
So we're ventless for now. That's why I've got to do the questioning in the chat which drives me mad because I can't feel the silence or reactions after the webcam question and can't take a peado voice either.
