well to elaborate, xm8 is not allowed because it has amazing wallbang so people think it's a cheap gun.
Lol? Because spamming through a door,window or wall and getting a random hs takes skill.
Thankfully it is banned in every league this game has to offer since its more overpowered than the scar light. -

Thats false, there both different in many ways.
The scarlight has decent wall bang + it virtually has no recoil.
The XM8 has amazing wall bang and has some what of a mid m4/ak recoil spray pattern. -

A good player can use SL just as well as m4 imo. A good xm8'er should destroy a good SL'er since if they're smart they'll use the wallbang. The k2 and sl are similar and I don't see teams running 5 k2's in Wogl play offs [cough, SNSD]. Btw gurp, what would you know about doing anything in leagues or competitively?XM8 is as OP as k2.

It's not exactly OP, but it definitely have some huge advantages. WOGL-B doesn't mean it's unfair. Leagues ban a lot of guns that are just not available to the majority of people. -
The irony is the reason guns weren't restricted in WCG was due to the fact there IS no advantage...
You have the same opportunity to use the weapon that they do. Albeit that isn't true with crate guns and they shouldn't be allowed. But weapons that can simply be used in a sense don't offer advantages...
Sure, the Scar Light is more powerful than the M4... but what is to stop you from using it?
Obviously this doesn't work in a competitive sense due to lack of maturity with most players. But in theory it would work. -

Not really, that just removes a testcase.
I won't try and say that it should be done... in my opinion it shouldn't. I would rather see a well balanced match, but if it did occur providing CERTAIN restrictions were made you wouldn't necessarily have a massive overhaul in the balance of the guns. -

Your case is that there is no advantage to full wall damage guns. Almost everyone agrees there is. If guns like xm8/g36/typ89 are allowed, there are spots where unless you are using a wall dmg gun, you are at a severe disadvantage.
Once our version went away from the scarlight, competitive strategy changed a lot. Next was the k2/xm8 phase, and again the metagame was completely different.
