Blank screen after launcing CF

When I click Cf and click start game the gameguard appears then CF appears but nothing
happens i tryed pressing ctrl+alt+delete then i click task manager but it says its running but its still bank!

Try running crossfire as an administrator.

Ensure, that Crossfire.exe, Gameguard.des and Gameguard.mon wont get blocked by your firewall and your antivirus.

What is running? I had some issues with CF_Patcher, the game would show the splash screen but the Patcher wouldn't complete it's task due to a hiccup in my connection
