Found SOLUTION to crossfire not starting

Ok this goes for the people who's crossfire simply didn't start without showing anything. I followed Dreambomber's advice and it worked for me. The solution is to update windows pretty much lol.

I was playng CF in WindowsXP Service pack 2 till 5-6 days ago when the game begin just not to start. Which update will solve this problem, can i download it as a exe or I shoud install Service pack 3 (which i cant do right now couse i have many unsaved work on my pc)

Oh it was in the work arounds ugh I didn't see that..would've helped.

@Falco- Uhh sorry not much good with computer and its lingo but where I got it was at the toolbar with that yellow shield at the right to update. It did take a while so I'm guessing its the one you can't do.

You should install the Windows XP Service Pack 3. Otherwise your Crossfire wont be able to start / run proberly.
Do a backup of you unsaved work to a External drive or a second internal drive. Then you install the Service Pack without Problems
