The attempt wasn't really a merge. It was looking into their only competition picking a few players to try and take so they have no real competition left. They basically just want another free trip. They better hope russia drops out again so they can go, since c2 will be beating them.
No idea why everyone holds LL on a high horse. They are not unbeatable, they are not impressive. For some reason everyone rides their **** when all they do is talk down to people. The whole time in China they talked about how they will win because they watched the youtube videos of the other teams play and they all suck. Even people they ring with and are "friends" with they talk about when they leave. They truly believe everyone sucks but them, not sure if it's their ego or just stupidity. I won't be riding that bandwagon. Those that like them, go ahead. But they are probably the furthest thing from professional gamers I have ever seen. There ego's are way out of line as well. -

Agreed. LPK has beaten them numerous times, and so has all of my teams. Every team I've ever played for competitively that is, has beaten LL. They aren't good anymore, nor will they be good again. -

They aren't "good" anymore because people have finally figured out how they play. Yes I've seen them play recently and I can honestly say they are still a top team. Maybe not #1 but they are better than most competitive NA teams. -

Normally I'd say it's no ones business but if Adam is going to post every hour making stuff up, then I will say something. Aks(from c2) and I recently started talking via steam and apparently Adam(MRN also from c2) isn't fond of that. Adam then made a thread about how we(Pete and I) are horrible people that are horrible at CF and we are trying to break up their team. Just because Aks and I did discuss roster situations and how hard it is to find Canadian players, doesn't mean I plan on merging with them. Aks has been ringing for me lately, big deal. MRN doesn't have to be worried if Aks likes playing with me better, because I never offered a merge in the first place. -

Indeed, the only thing that should matter truely, is yourself getting where you feel you need to be preforming at. But then again, most of the people that say their good on this forum, dont even play the damn game.
