Community Report Review Board
I feel that Z8 is becoming over-powered by its large following and the recent rise in the number of hackers. Therefore, I believe that a new approach to this should be taken.
Several members of the community should be allowed to view some of the reports and also make judgements based on the evidence. All bans must be reviewed by Z8 before being confirmed, but this would still allow some extension of manpower to deal with the influx of work.
Now remember, only highly trusted members of the community can be picked, including, but not limited to, Mods. There may be incentive such as very small abouts of GP or EXP per report (10-25 gp or 5-10 xp) to make it worthwhile, and just to top it off, a report view limit, to stop massive amounts of easy GP and Exp from being earned.
Your view on this?
Please remember that this is a civilized conversation, and should be treated as such. Only contents containing neutral or constructive views will be tolerated. Any overtly negative comments will be frowned upon.

I wouldnt mind.
I know, but there are a few that I would trust, and rightfully so, as they maintain their composure in all cases, and always act accordingly. I'm not going to name names so as to not start a favorite thread. -
This thought has crossed my mind, but if the MODs still had to view them to verify it would take even more time.
I meant that the reviewers would have access to Z8's report pool, and could do so at their leisure. It is not a requirement for a review to be checked by a community member. -
If you did let regular player have power over the report I might get banned or in trouble since in fact even some big time scrimmer thought I did hack, even my old clan leader kicked me for saying I did hack. When In fact I never did hack for the past 9 years.

No, no, no... no. I didn't say anyone. I mean that only a VERY WELL RESPECTED member of the community could be nominated. -

Um... Could you please refrain from posting in such an unorganized and.. *shudder* grammatically incorrect manner? -
The problem is not just the community but also having a keen eye in differentiating between hackers and legit players. The other reason is its Z8's responsibility to deal with the hackers as if there is an instance of a wrongful ban, who gets blamed? Guaranteed the finger gets pointed at the company.
Its a nice system when you think about it on the outside, but it has a few flaws that sadly breaks it too much to be considered by the company. -

I know *sigh* I was hoping to start a conversation wherein we could discover and iron out the flaws, but it seems as though my wish goes unheeded. -
Well.
That is something that happens in League of Legends.
After a player has been reported 5 times the case is sent to the community. Only the ones at maximum level can vote.
But most times there everybody presses "ban" button.
So I won't like the idea.
