Ping Issues

Recently, I have been experiencing some issues with my ping. Not in the way that it is constantly high, but that one game I will ping for example 150 and the next game(on the same server) it will increase to 200. This is on US West. Going on Alpha causes my ping to go from 230 > 380.

I think the issue may be the changed internet provider. I know most people have the Internet speed to play crossfire, but it's just the distance from the server. So, although my internet speed did increase(which shouldn't be the issue) the provider does not connect directly to the world wide web, it in fact goes through a second company. I must also mention here that my ping before my internet upgrade was lower than the 150 mentioned above. So the transfer to the second company may be causing my ping marginally increasing, but it does not explain why every second game my ping increases again.

Any idea?

I have a suggestion for them to fix your ping make a server near nz and aussie .-. its really the only way your going to fix it.

We are with telstra aswell and i get a 175ish ping on the us west coast servver..the others its 250+
