How do you spot a hacker?

I have said it before and ill say it again....I FIND ODD THAT ALL BR PEOPLE ARE GOOD!!THEY ARE KNOWN TO HACK IN EVERY SINGLE FREE ONLINE ***1N GAME.AND YOU RARELY SEE A BRAZILIAN IN A PS3 OR XBOX360 ONLINE GAME WHERE THERES NO HACKS, SO ITS PRETY OVIOUS TO ME.
And every time you tell a BR guy that hes using hacks they all say ''Me no hack,i pro'' or ''All BR are pro''
its so fast its oviously a macro save lol.
it just makes me mad T.T
BR pro?well some guys are but most of them uses hack and i saw some clans that i il not mentioned...and they suck at using hacks LOL.when you see a BR kick Him. -
There are a lot of hackers from countries far away from the USA. They do it because their ping is too high to play easily. I know I have had a hard time trying to play with my ping of about 250 on West Coast Server and 370 on other servers. Had I had ping like the rest of you lads I would be ranking in the top players of Crossfire, as I do with many FPS games where I have average pings. This is why many of them hack, and it can sort of be understood, but of course there is no justification for hacking of any sort.

-see what "illegal" stuff he does
-does it happen only once or multiple times
-be sure to exclude lag, spraying, seeing blood, using headset, standing in light/smoke
does he keep spraying once in a round, and "coincidentally" kills a ghost or does he empties his weapon 25 times in the match, checking everywhere for ghosts?
(Some hackers try to hide their hack, by spraying randomly around, so they can say things like "lol noob I was spraying")
-watch his language, if hes like "NOOB I NO ???" or "NO U JUS SUK" then I wouldn't thrust him, DONT thrust people that are unable to the the caps lock button lol
-yes, the carefully aiming at head trick...if you already started a campfire and he just barely sees your head+hs or sees you through a wall, check if this keeps happening
If yes: start taking screenshots, chances are big that hes not a legit player, replay is kinda just for having 100% evidence (if it wasn't your fault (running around, breathe etc))
oh btw: don't start b1tching around. Insulting will NOT do ANYTHING. Keep in mind that it might be a skilled/fcking lucky player and not a stupid hacker.I have said it before and ill say it again....I FIND ODD THAT ALL BR PEOPLE ARE GOOD!!THEY ARE KNOWN TO HACK IN EVERY SINGLE FREE ONLINE ***1N GAME.AND YOU RARELY SEE A BRAZILIAN IN A PS3 OR XBOX360 ONLINE GAME WHERE THERES NO HACKS, SO ITS PRETY OVIOUS TO ME.
Honestly, in tons of f2p games (CF included) 90% of turks are hacking, scamming, botting, doing s**t -.-
It's not about racism or prejudice, but imo theyre doing well at giving the impression, that all turks are hackers... -
Well the first thing you want to do is not call them hacker, hackers, hack, hacks, hacking or anything like that because those are all bad words according to Crossfire.
1. High ping, Low rank, High score in GM
2. Stupid names like [Pr0niP3[R] or [kIlL[-U_]N-o_w]
Those are the players that I look out for the most. -
Most of the things i've just heard as signs of a "hack" are complete junk. 360 spins for example. If I hear something behind me then DUH im going to spin around and shoot. If I hear a ghost somewhere near me then i'll try to pin point the sound of their breath, sometimes ending in a headshot. Theres also this thing called luck, don't know if you've ever heard of it.
I'm a legit player and I get kicked way too often for no reason. I'm absolutely convinced that hackers are just a myth propagated by bad players with a farmed rank to hide the fact that they are just god awful at this game, bless their hearts.
95% of all the great and unbelievable plays in Ghost Mode can be attributed to the following:
-Use of headphones (Yes, you do breathe and make really loud footsteps on metal)
-Use of eyes (If you move into the open, stop, and then I shoot you? I saw you stop.)
-Use of aim (Contrary to popular belief you can gently click the mouse for better accuracy)
-Use of teammates (If two or more people are shooting at you, expect that they all see you)
-Luck (I think i'll shoot over here BOOM HEADSHOT! O_O) -

I do the same. Another thing i look for is oddly uneven teams, a BR in GR, or a Turk in GR. I've found some legit Turks and Brs but the most of them hack.1. Someone with a greater ping than yours, pops you before you see them.
2. Someone who shoots through walls before they peak, LONG RANGE.
3. 360 spins is a sign of an aimbotter.
4. If your spectating someone, a guy who is following someone else through a wall.
5. If your spectating someone, a person who scopes near an edge of a wall, leading they're the opponent. Highly doubt the sniper has cat like reflexes.
6. Someone who stays alive and runs reckless across the map pretending they don't hack. DEBATABLE.
I'm really good at singling out the hackers^_^
I hope that you're really good at #6. I'm bad for running around getting high scores, AND a majority of the time I'm kicked cause people don't know how to determine hack from headphones. -

What you do there is a 180° spin, not 360° -_-''
Geez. -
Aimbotters (public ones) spin 360.
Wallhackers/Chammers will run to where the ghost in and kill him ,if he is moving they will kill him if he is camping they might wait and might just shoot him and they always keep thier eye on the target
Fullbright they will walk normal but if they see you BHing or moving or standing they will shoot or fake the spray (those are the hardest to spot).
Anyway just report themBrazillians.
Seems to be some kind of national sport to hack as much as possible on every game.
Ruins it for the ones that do not hack.
Seen a game ban the entire country because it was such a high percentage of them
LOOL i laughed 10 minutes at that lmao.notfound404 wrote: »im sorry that you were born with a genetic defect that made you unable do detect any form of sarcasm.I see more turks hacking >_>

But you didn't kill 6 player in a td using that move? :P -
Hey guys,
Just wondering if you guys have any tips on how to spot hackers. Below are just a few ways I know someone is hacking.
1. They are super speedy or completely invisible(Obvious hackers)
2.They take their precious time at aiming at your head in Ghost Mode.
3.They do not try to defend themselves when threatened to be kicked(Sometimes)
If you guys have anything else to add please do.
Don't put things like "If they kill you in Ghost Mode while you're invisible they hack" or "If they head shot you a lot they hack."
1. its called bunnyhop. its really fast and its invisible.
2. they might take precious time at pinpointing and het lucky hs.
3. i dont bother to spam f12 etc. if im being kicked. and im not cheater.
fail post FAILS. -
If you have good sound:
(no GM tips I suck and dont play that much yet )
You can hear the bullets after the first or 2nd one has killed you hitting the metal or walls behind you. I dont think there are any guns that can shoot 6-15 bullets relatively in the same grouping or "spot" from across an egypt, train and ship maps for instance. You can also sometimes see a straight line of bullets wizzing by you as they take out your friend in an almost uncanny straightline effect, one after the other. ( some guns can hit 4 bullets in the relatively same spot when scoped like the sg so be careful
you can run out of blind spots or bases and stop just before the you get to the opening and check for "pre-fire" sounds as someone watching you will fire on you often right before you get to open area.
When you die you can tab through your teamates and watch them playing. If you see your guy looking into walls and into boxes etc as if there is somenone there or he is "stalking" through the wall.
Replays. If you think someone is hacking then watch the replay and see if you can see him doing any of those characteristics.
Know your enemy: Watch You tube of people hacking. See what they see. Watch how they get you and try to come up with a different plan of defense/attack next time. Work with a team mate to pop in and out alternating to capture his attention one way while bagging him from the other.
Even though its frustrating to keep getting killed very quickly, it may not be a hack. Watch the replay from the shooters point of view. Maybe he just found a good "spot". -
Oh yeah and my favorite is:
If you think a chammer ( seeing through walls ) is getting you too many times, run back and forth behind cover like walls or cargo etc etc. I do this by base in trains and it drives them nuts lol. They run across the map from left to right chasing you on other side lol. then you switch back and go the other way. They start hollering that you are a hacker rofl!
this is the best moment.
And of course all of the tips in here from everybody, some hackers are reading as well and will try to make their use less detectable by trying to appear as normal players etc.. -
most of the time, the only way you can tell is:
experience
there's a difference between knowing spots/using sounds/using common sense when a teammate dies and seeing people through walls. I doubt I've ever reported someone who wasn't hacking. Anytime I think someone does, I try my best to not talk about it in game; i.e. "REPORTED", "ENJOY YOUR BAN", ect.,ect. If they don't hack, I ended up seeming liek a stupid worthless little crybaby, which I myself get annoyed by. I just rewatch a replay, then decide from there whether it's worth the GM's time seeing or not. -
IMHO, only hackers qualify to answer this question. A hacker knows a hacker as a thief knows a thief. I always have a hard time to tell between hack and skill, except the obvious speedy and 360 spin.
A suggestion, do not vote to kick someone just because of suspicion of hacking, especailly when your rank and kdr are low, and you do not have much experience on this game.
An interesting thing is most of the kicking vote were initiated by lower rank players with low kdr.
