How can we answer that question for you? Just try them both, pick the one you like most.

Scar Light is the better gun, statistically anyway, although a lot of people prefer using the M4A1. The Scar is often seen as a bit of a noob gun because it's so easy to use and get kills with. That's the reason many high ranks use Scar Heavy or M4s.

The Scar-L is a better gun according to the statistics, but it depends on the player. A good player can get more kills with a M4-A1 then a poor one with a Scar-L.

The scar L is so good its boring... thats the problem I have with it... its too easy to use... its very predictable dependable powerful and accurate... Now in an important clan match I could see maybe using one again... But I got bored of it..
