Alternating weapons
Hi, I am a AK-47 user however I often find that I am being killed by SCAR-Light users when I play S&D. Most of my clan matches are either S&D or GM. I am pretty sure that the AK-47 is best for GM And that the SCAR-Light is best for S&D. I already own both of these guns but does trying to use them both make you a worse player? Or should I just learn to master one gun and stick with it? If so which the SCAR or the AK? Just to complex the matter I am also an avid AWM user, perhaps I should just use my AWM in S&D instead of the SCAR-Light?
I am not that fond of the SCAR-Light but I feel that I could grow to get used to it. I suppose the question really is which is better in general A good SCAR-Light user, a good AK-47 user or a not so good SCAR-light and AK-47 in S&D and GM respectively? Thanks,

in my opinion it does not make u a bad player, i myself save the scar light for times when i rage and am not playing well.
but my main gun is ak, so you gotta decide whats gna be your main gun and the gun you play with when your not doing so well.
or if your happy with yourself now then it dont matter ^^ -
Anyway I've sided with just using the SCAR-Light, could anybody give me some tips for using it as I am fairly rusty with anything that doesn't kick like a horse. For example I tried to use a Kriss lately and just found that even though the recoil was mild I was still pulling my aim down as to counter-act it which results in nothing but shooting lots of people in the leg.
I think the problem is I spend so long getting used to the AK-47 now its just become how I believe a good should act.
The main issue I'm having with the SCAR-Light is that at close range it just doesn't have the rate of fire I expect and I get killed first because they can shoot faster.
I know this is all a little off-topic but still little help? -
If you familiarize the AK then without a doubt you will be a top rifler in this game, but only to the extent....
My opinion? Go with the ak. The weapon is pretty difficult to use but when you get the feel of it it's pretty much said and done for your opponents. -
I have been going with the AK-47 but I find that it is just too hard to take people out at long range, It involves a constant steam of one or two shotting and hoping that either I get a headshot with doesn't always happen and that they won't be more efficient at long range.
Before I was a Ghost mode player where all you really need is short range but after being kicked more times that I'd like to think about I am moving into S&D which often involves long range combat. I do use a AWM in my second bag but sometimes it comes down to close range too and my D Eagle just won't cut it when I am left alone with several enemy's. -

The thing about the ak is it's recoil. When shooting at someone from a long distance, make sure to tap shoot.
My tips:
Use Crosshair 1 (My personal preference)
Tap shoot (This involves tapping your shoot button twice every 1-2 seconds, Make sure the crosshair's reticule dies down before shooting again)
Sense play (A sudden attack term, means having sense when playing. This involves not peeking long range against snipers, using cover etc.)
Don't get frustrated. -

yo tasty... dont you play sudden attack too O_o. i always see you on the forums defending ur clean rep -
How about this suggestion for competitive guns:
Kit 1: AK47 + Deagle
Kit 2: SCAR Light + Deagle
Kit 3: AWM + P228
Kit 4: XM1014 + Anaconda
Have that as your 4 kits, and you will be ready for any competitive match.
Funny thing is all but the P228 I have all those guns O.o
But I am too cheap to pay 20k a month just to have 2 more bags -
master the ak.
i find it unbelievably easy to pick off anyone at range and destroy people at close range.
my problem with the ak is mid range, where the scar light is superior.
If your gna stick with the scar then just aim for the body or the head. Dont pull down or anything and just let off 4-5 shots, but this gets boring as its easy ;P -

There is not much to say about it. Try to aim for the head always (!), since it´s not the best at bodyshooting. At Medium Range shoot Bursts of 2-5. At long Range, 1-3.
But the most important thing is, practise with it. If you wanna use this gun always, than use it always for a few days. This way you get better with it. -
i use my m4-c most of the time, but if i cant seem to get many kills i usually switch to my ak silver, just double tap it and aim at chest. works fine .
also i used to use only scar l. its a great gun in all aspects, pretty much an all rounder which makes it widely popular. if you can master you ak 47 however you shall be victorios xD
