post patchForged file error info

ok so this is this is what i have experienced the last 2 patches its has happend exactly the same way and i have tried everything on the forums to resolve the issu without having any of them work.

problem - after patching when i click start on the spalsh page and its starts to load then abruptly stops with an error message saying "file has been changed or forged and will be shut down by force"
task manager describes the window as CF_filewatcher

attempts to resolve issue
i have;
cleared my prefetch
un-installed and re-installed from every available mirror and alternative download sites.
ran system maintenence on my hard drive (defrag/clean etc.)
restarted comp serveral times trying prefetch clear and disk clean after and before
deleting game gaurd folder
cf manual update
manually copying my roomates game folder to replace mine

NONE of these worked and ive seen there are other having the same frustrations i have encountered.
i spent about 4 or 5 hours troubleshooting to no avail.

SOLUTION- the only thing that has fixed this for me is time
i worked on it until 2 am last night and it did not work (hasnt worked since patch)
yet today without rebooting my comp i tried to load cf again and it started up like a hot dam
i have no idea this is just trying to give people out there some idea that there is hope and u may have the same experience i had. try patience if it doesnt work leave it for a day or two this has/

this may also hopefully help the techs get to the bottom of why this happens it could be something to do with dates or some sort of temp file that is wiped by windows automaticaly after 2 or 3 days.

if these Solution doesnt help you, try to Check, if their new Windows Updates available.
If the Mirrors on the website doesnt work for you, you can try it with this Mirror.
Also ensure, that Crossfire.exe, gameguard.mon and gameguard.des files got full access through your firewall and turn your Antivirus progam off for the Installation.
If your having Windows Vista / Windows 7, run the Setup and Gamestart as Administrator.
