"files have been changed or forged....." problem still persists

when ever i open CF this message come up FILES HAVE BEEN CHANGED OR FORGED....
i tried to reinstall it and it still says the same thing.



I downloaded crossfire from utorrent and when i did the setup it said that this version was old.

many problems.any solutions please help !!!!!!

Try an alternative Download, or when the downloads from the website dont work, you can try it with this installer of Crossfire. Ensure, that you uninstalled your Crossfire completly before installing the new Version with using something like Ccleaner.

lol I just posted a topic like this too. Nothing seems to help so far. Have u tried the magical Disk Cleanup everyone talks about?

The mirror 1 works for the latest version.

Update: yes the mirror 1 from the main site ofcourse. If you use someone else's client, they may have it modified that when you use it with your account you might even get banned or something. The torrent version of the client is old so use the mirrors. Mirror 4 for me didn't work and gave the REZ error while installing.

u cant download it of some website its not safe they could steal your acc.
