It is AVAST!!!!!! "antivirus" detecting game guard as a threat. If your locking up.... Try right click on it and stop on-access protection. then game will run fine.

im talking to the 300 players that are having an issue with the game locking up there computer when they try to start it. It all started when Avast updated.

its not just avast..
its gameguard that has conflict with any anti virus program !
just close it down and u can play !
dont ask how its true..
it works so dont whine and go play !

download anitvir way better virus program for free and havent ONCE and I Said it ONCE. I have not had a problem with this virus program. http://www.free-av.com/

nor has it EVER conflicted with game gaurd. enjoy.
