you sir deserve props(gives standing ovation)
its good to recognize NBA players aren't the almighty best players -

You gotta be kidding..... Twice as good?
Basketball is a team based game, Street Ball is all about how good you can handle a basketball. The vast majority of the streetballers lack defense, one of the main aspects that every player should have in order to become a pro.
And you also have to take into account that the streetballers have to commit travels in order execute some tricks (According to the NBA rules). If you take away the tricks and all the useless moves that they do everytime they play, they have nothing left.
So no, streetballers are not twice as good as NBA Players. -

you sir have the logic as appliedlogic
defence? what defence does NBA have, oh wait a 7 foot tall person in the key.. oh man THATS PROO DEFENCE, and im guessing youve never watched or played real street basketball in your life.. just some sickening video games of it on the ps2 or w.e u kids have it these days.. team-based game? I've heard this quote: pass it to your best player and let him get the points. oh man thats defiantly team-based, letting your best player to do the work. -

The shit load of money that NBA players earn begs to differ.Runescaper1 wrote: »defence? what defence does NBA have, oh wait a 7 foot tall person in the key.. oh man THATS PROO DEFENCE
Better than an excuse of a team standing up like a bunch of trees, just letting the opposite team to score so they can have the ball.
And if you think that StreetBallers have slightly better defense than the NBA players, there are 3 possible case scenarios:- You are a complete moron.
- You have never played competitive BasketBall in your entire life.(Playing in tournaments, jut palying with your homies doesn't count)
- You are a streetballer.

And No, I have never played real streetball in my entire life, Im not interested in dancing like a headless chicken while humping a basketball.
However I have watched some streetball, I never got impressed.
"Oh look he just traveled, and another one! Oh just another travel!!"
Seriously?Runescaper1 wrote: ».. team-based game? I've heard this quote: pass it to your best player and let him get the points. oh man thats defiantly team-based, letting your best player to do the work.
Then you have heard it from the wrong people, it clearly doesn't work.
(You can ask Lebron James about it, when he was with the Cavs)
P.S Unless you are 22 years old, you can't call me a kid. Infact, in my perspective you are the one.
Have a nice day kid...Dacbietelite wrote: »If you have seen how good street ballers handles and shooting are you would see. Yes their defence is a little lacking, but it can easily be improved. Unlike shooting
Shooting can also be improved, back in my High School days I used shoot 3-pointers, and I was a post. -

Seeing as Rafer Alston was one of the best streetball players around, I'm pretty sure you're wrong...you sir have the logic as appliedlogic

There's more to it then contesting shots in the paint...team-based game? I've heard this quote: pass it to your best player and let him get the points. oh man thats defiantly team-based, letting your best player to do the work.
Yet there isn't a single player in the NBA averaging 1/3 of his team's total points, let alone majority.
I don't understand why people would try to debate when they really have no idea what they're talking about. -
Define street baller, someone who plays basketball outside on the street? in that case, mostly everybody is a street baller.
let's put it into this perspective, the NBA has have very very athletic 30 year olds, even 40 years old. find me somebody that is a "street baller" that can endure as much as these current 30-40 year old NBA players, I can guarantee you won't. In fact, you'll probably have a hard time finding 30-40 year old street ballers seeing as how they're usually 12-22 year olds who probably didn't even finish high school.
"street ball"... what a joke, ****ing illogical children. -

lol at the convos in this thread. pro basketball players came from the streets
Define street...
Street as in, people who play basketball in a street(because if that's the case, then half the US population come from the street.
Or street as in, he failed High School and does Labor all day+plays ball when he has free time... -
Dacbietelite wrote: »yes that is true to an extent. Most pro basketball players did play outside of just school such as in park/recreational areas "street". However, they were mainly recruited to the NBA from high school play, or college play.
ya but you do realize that in order to get into the high school/college basketball teams you had to have played basketball prior to that... everyone at one point was a street baller and they played countless hours to get that good. Even after making it into the teams they continue to play in the streets with their "homies" who aren't a part of the team -

Im pretty sure youre devoted to the media... or maybe yet believe the media
coming from you I already know the answer palestine vs israel
but other people I would like to see yours.. do you believe all what the media is saying and you should hate israel?
no the media is a lie
have you ever seen a real professional basketball player not in the NBA but yet as in a sport channel?
NO!
I know lots of people in real life who of course have been in offical leagues but they still enjoy playing it on the streets
HECK lots of NBA players enjoy playing streetball rather then a game inside and some still do
