MP7 Ammo reserve

Why does the MP7 have only 80 bullets in reserve? All other SMG's have at least three clips in reserve (besides the P90). I'd say that the only reason there aren't more MP7 users out there is because of the the shortage of ammo that occurs fairly quickly. If the MP7 had 3 clips in reserve it would be comparable to the MP5. Is the MP7 supposed to be just for show? Why is it so badly represented in this game?

I suppose that you could argue that if I suffer from ammo shortage I should just buy the extra clip. However the extra clip is fairly pricey and it shouldn't cost so much just to use the MP7.

Yeah another point it is supposed to be armour piecing. Why has it been so poorly done in this game?

Thus is life. I bought the micro galil expecting it to be good, no such luck.
