The Xai is good too, although not good enough to be priced at $100. -

The Xai should be priced at $49, well actually, considering how much it costs to manufacture these things it shouldn't be over $5.
The MX518 is priced around $45
The IE 3.0 is priced around $35
Wheel Mouse Optical is priced around $20
And the Xai is priced around $80, yet, I would take any of the mouse above any day over the Xai. -
Honestly , i never saw the other 2 mouses instead mx518 in the stores that i went til now. But ill try to find them, wich one is the best after you? of them 3.
I think you'll like the MX518 the best. It's a really good mouse. IE 3.0 is probably the best in my opinion, but I think you should go with the 518. The Wheel Mouse Optical is good as well, but if you have the money for any of the other two then get them instead.
Ya, because most stores carry junk peripherals (Products like ONLY Razer) and that is why you should buy from online. -
i kinda have a big hand to...
i have ikari right now but it does waves in crossfire, u know how to fix it ? or i should just get a new one?
Your polling rate's up too high.
CF gets in a bitch temper with anything over 223Hz, so lower it down to 125Hz and you'll be fine. -
For CF, don't go for WMO or IME since they require a 500Hz+ polling rate overclock to fonction over 1m/s. MX518, DA, Xai, zowie EC are definately better options...
You're deranged. In the long run, the IE 3.0 or the WMO are much better options. FYI, this myth of crossfire not functioning correctly with anything over 125hz is a lie, my Kinzu had no problems with 500hz in crossfire. You don't chose a mouse for JUST crossfire, because I highly doubt that's all he does, therefore, the IE 3.0 or the WMO are perfect choices. -

Yea I agree that if you're investing on a single mouse for the long run, the IME or WMO are great if not prefect choices for FPS gaming regardless of polling rate and CF acceleration. But considering I own almost ALL these mice(IME, WMO, DA, MX518, EC2, Xai, etc) I have the guilty pleasure to choose which mouse I want for which game I play.
And I might still have acceleration graphs with my Deathadder @ 125 and 500Hz and you can see the acceleration curve is much higher. I'll try to find+upload them to show that with my DA, the lower the polling rate, the less the acceleration. -
A mouse is all preference. That's like asking what crosshair style people use so you can pick one. Every single person on these forums uses a different mouse/mousepad combo. It's all your own preference. Do you like laser or optical? do you like to play on hard mousepads or soft/cloth, do you like high DPI's? Do you like larger or smaller mouse pads?
nobody can answer those questions for you. -
True that to what LPK_MRNa2 just said ;
I was using a Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical for 8 years ; the plastic patch on front just fell off so I decided to shop for a new mouse. Tried about 4 different mice (G9x / Deathadder / Xai ... ) and none felt good until I decided to get another Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical. Best 20$ I ever spent.
This mouse works good on any surface (I play directly on a wooden table).
The optical (instead of laser) gives an advantage to low pitch user because you can lift the mouse up in the air without the cursor shaking ; thus it compensates for the low pitch in close combat.
I have huge hands and it still feels comfortable.
This mouse will last you forever.
Recommanded my a lot of counter strike forums.
Plug and play on any OS or computer.
Just my 2 cent ; buying a mouse is like a pair of shoes so make sure you go to Best Buy for the 30 days money back. -
