Code client error

Can somebody help me plz!!!
Whenver I open crossfire it tells me code client error. I think I need to turn on or install direct3d but I don't know how so plz help me!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can enable direct3d by running dxdiag and accessing the display tab, you should make sure your video card supports it and meets minimum requirements for the game, if you search for, download, and run dxwebsetup.exe it will make sure dx is up to date.

It doesn't make my computer slow or it doesn't have virus right?
