European Pug Vent/Wogl Draft.
I'm going to keep this very short, as im lazy and need to go walk my dogs.
As many of you know i have a 50 man vent that isn't being used and as an effort to try boost the Eu competitive scene. I want to get the pug vent up and running again. Possibly put together a few wogl draft's if the numbers were there ( and mart approves ). So before i go ahead and hook it all up. I would just like to see what intrest we could get.
Same rules as previous pugs, basicly providing a place for competitive european players to pug/find scrims/chill without m12's kriss and the new wave of public hack's that seem to be upon us all. ( yes we are all doomed ) Please keep all comments to do with the pug advice tips whatever if your intrested in getting it up and running i'm sure we could.

Pugs dont need mart's approval as its just a random thing however i would ask him for advice blah blah blah. Mart would need to check things out if we did a Wogl Draft.
I didn't know josh had started one, but if we can get word out and get things flowing abit better. Then hopefully we can have abit more a competitive commuinity cause at the moment it's preety crap. Depending on intrest -
Go ahead, but try to not let this die after 5 weeks of success, like some others did.
Yea thats the problem alot of pug vents have had in the past. Also the reason why i wanted to speak with mart get some advice as his pug vent is the longest lasting i can think of.
Basicly situation i have now i have a 50 man vent going to waste with a huge contract left on it Between a few people i was in TDH with ( DFLW AA COD4 ). Now the vent is going to waste i saw a gap that needs filling so hopefully we can sort it. -

This shouldn't posted at the hoster but at the players. There is no "secret ingredient" for running a successful PUG. All it needs is for the vent. to be up and running and the info. made public so people know about it.
It's then up to the players to come on and want to participate. Not sit on Xfire saying "Call me when you have 9".
Good luck with this Ax. Glad to be able to join some PUGs again. -
SHNOOOOOBIE!
Biggest LoL noob ever haha.
hes mineeeeee
well quite alot of people have told me there is already an eu pug vent going again, however i had no idea about this. So having two of them up would be pointless hopefully the guys running theirs at the minute will organise something to make it public to every one like aenaes said and we can get some good pugs going and hopefully make it all a little more competitive. -

There are some good ways to keep a PUG vent running smoothly for some time.
- Impartial, competent and mature staff
- Giving out some prizes every now and then (sponsored or not by Z8Games)
- Making drafts every week without delaying them
- Having a good ruleset
and
- Know when you need to ban someone. -

Agree with you there. That's because the majority of players are children however. What I was trying to say, if people followed the example of the person(s) hosting the vent. and playing for the sake of playing then there wouldn't be a need for staff (except draft times obviously) or prizes.
