Same I was hoping for something along the lines of:
"Qualifiers in a week, get ready"
Ultimately it's up to WOGL to set up the logistics.
There is all summer, I suspect there will be either a) plenty of time to get signed up for whatever necessary or b) plenty of chances to qualify.
There will be more news coming in over the next week as things get rolling and both USA and CAN Q's and matches happen. -

As mentioned. USA has a National Live Final.
The CAN final for Cross Fire is being held online. Likely broadcasted, but that will require more information.
Ultimately it will be up to the logistics team at WCG to coordinate everything once the players have been determined to get them to Korea and all the other things going on.
Our site is simply being used as a place where teams can gather (find players) and transmitting information to the competitive crowd that we can reach. -

If its online, thats boring, i mean i KNOW for a fact my team is not going to win, we might have had a shot for being the top 4th and make the national lan which would be an experience, but since its online... -
If it's actually online I'm REALLY disappointed
The World Cyber Games are not online. They will take place live. You're playing for a chance to go to Korea. The National Qualifiers are just a minor thing anyways.
Canada isn't as big as the states and the Canadian side of Cross Fire isn't as big either. There are limits to all the games in various places in the world with regards to national finals etc etc. -

Canada normally has the 1.6 qualifier live at ETS in Montreal. Shame people miss out on the chance of playing a lan.
