Window 7

I have a question for gms and people who had been using the new window 7
can crossfire and other free fps still be played in window 7?

I know that the 32bit Win7 does not work yet with Crossfire, but the 64bit does.

64bit W7 should be fine

32bit has GG issues, so don't upgrade yet =P

That sucks, my friend upgraded to Win7 a few weeks ago, now he's going back to WinXP: Black & Blue cuz he wants to play CF.

i have win 7 ultimate 64bit... works like magic... speed of XP and secuirty of vista.. looks a lil like vista tho.. which i like..

cf and every game ive put on here works great.. fps boost actually ... but i went from vista to win 7 .. so thats a given lol

32 bit defiantly doesn't work lol but I herd 64 does but has a lot of glitches:P I got windows 7 a few days ago but went back to good old reliable vista with in a hour lol ... Nothing wrong with windows 7 though... I just wanna play CF and do other things windows 7 cant yet do. People thinks its faster how ever its actually windows vista modified and has 100% the same requirements but... Its nice cuz it has a few new handy features and u can change a lot more to your liking Other then options to turn off its security settings and the snap it feature its vista again lol

The only reason to upgrade to 32 bit W7 is if your processor does not support 64 bit. In which case, you need a new computer... I intend on upgrading.

wrong.. i have 64bit win 7 ... no problems at all.. only glitch is the gagets dont work on mine =S but thats not a big deal

Wrong:P I got 32bit vista there for cant get 64bit unless I buy the full version... Seeing as u dont use more then 3gb ram ever I didnt care so just bought the 100$ upgrade instead of the 230$ full version of 64... How ever my pc would have zero trouble handling 64 bit:P My reason was it cost less then half the price and I still got the 64bit cd plus 32 bit cd and when I'm running forums, clan page, msn, xfire, cross fire max settings and so on i still only use about 1.8gb ram lol...

weird I never even tried the gagets on my windows 7 lol... Did you use them in vista? Cuz if so and ur not right now that would make your difference in fps cuz that takes alot:P Also the pure fact ur pc got a good clean out in the upgrade would make it a lot better And windows 7 is tweaked to be better preforming then vista depending on the pc you'll see a bit of a difference.. For mine it didn't do anything or make it any faster cuz it was already really fast.. But for my moms it made a world of difference lol.. went from like a 5min start up time (No joke her pc was slowwwww) in vista to a maybe 30second start up time with windows 7
