Making a Good player

Does anyone believe that its equipment that makes the player.. or the actual skill of the player.
by equipment i mean
mice, headsets, keyboards, cpus
Could you have all the skill in cf but only play on a 10inch screen with 10$ mouse?
Opinions on this??
Funny thing is, that's better than what I have.
On topic : Actual skill matters more, if you have anything above cr@ppy equipment
. I had the cr@ppiest computer ever ( 15 fps, $1 mouse, $2 keyboard, paper mouse pad etc etc ) and could only manage an average of 1.9 kd on alpha. Then I moved to a somewhat decent computer ( Not all that great, but it got 50-60 fps in a 5v5 and that's all I needed ) and averaged atleast a 5.0+ kd

Before the trolls rage over my comment, LOOK at this game. Takes no intelligence, takes no physical strength, and definitly doesnt take strategy.
You have to make it outta' alpha before you talk about strategy <333333 -
the player's skill is how good the player will do,
while the equipment will limit the potential
by exemple, a good player with a bad headset vs a good player with a good headset, the player with the good headset will be able to hear player a from farther away more acuratly. but ofcourse equipment only increase the limit, not how well you actualy do. a bad player will most likely do as good with bad equipment then with good equipment since the bad equipment was able to keep up with him.
