what has lifeline won? i sure cant find anything. 5th/6th at WEM isn't an accomplishment. Congrats you did better than Indonesia and LPK. Really hard opponents right there. Going 1-2 as opposed to going 0-2 is still going negative. Speaking of WEM, fnatic got 8th place. Are they a bad team for getting 7th/8th. I mean comon, they suck.

anyways, i would much rather go to a lan with a long term friend of mine, then some rando cf player. i've known polo for nearly 7 years.

as for our gameplay at wem, luckily they are good at mexico, and we aren't. we executed our default wrong bl and we didn't realize it until we were down big. we had flashes in place that were thrown wrong, which caused key people on lifeline to not be blind. when we were on GR side we just got out played. if you have a brain you can watch the casts on ongamenet and see exactly what i am talking about.

and if lifeline is so much better than lpk why do i got people from lifeline asking to play with us for wcg? it just doesn't add up. jon, minty, and drew all asked me if i had a spot. aren't they lifeline's core players. something is wrong there.

tl;dr we weren't prepared, we lost. we've all moved on, but people on the forums haven't. yes lifeline was the better team at wem, we will see who is better at wcg (if they can even qualify, no free trips this time boys).

speaking of which, aren't you on wRp. how many times did we beat you season1, wasn't it 3? sure you guys are better since then, but i highly doubt you will even challenge us in the wcg qualifiers.

i've liked lifeline. i tried to teach them as much as i could back when i was with them. they came along way while i played with them and even farther after i left. people going around deleting me off facebook, and what not is comical at best. if im gonna be the bad guy, so be it. all i care about is winning. you all worry about your own teams, i'll handle mine.

as for WEM being the biggest match of my life, it wasn't. it was a source lan awhile back playing with my friends. sure it was the biggest event i went too, but the most intense match. definitely not.

    dominated....

  • Instead of seeing the cast of LL and LPK(which is sorta old..), I'd like to see some new teams play each other. Like Basic or 7s. Or new teams like that.

why would you want to see the lesser teams play each other?

that would be like choosing a minor league baseball game over watching the yankees ( us )

    Yep.

    Haters gonna hate.
  • Why LifeLine vs LPK? There is a lot more good teams then those. LifeLine might be the best, LPK may be second the best. Then you have teams such as FaceDown, MW, Exempt(If they quit breaking up.), also pCp.

Minus exempt. Sorry but there not quit on that level

Well, Liverpool have won 18 premier league titles and 5 Champions Leagues' and they are over-rated. People still count them in the big 4 and in a chance to win the Premiership each year. /sighs/ they're pathethic and i love it........

yea, we got nothing against you or minty.
  • People really should not comment on things they do not know the full story behind. I know its ironic that I am the one saying this as I did it quite a lot when I first joined this "community". But live and learn I guess right?

  • Its so funny how you (LPK) get so defensive when people try to criticize you, or talk down to you. In scrims, you guys are the biggest group of arrogant morons I have ever seen..

You come in an use guns like scar light, and golden m4. And you make remarks like "why is this game so easy?"

Everyone knows you are a good team. Thats great! It really is.. but there is no need to act like a bunch of tools.

Continue acting like children, and you will be treated as such.

    See you at WCG =)

versed them before and it only seems like they are trying to perfect their strats, nades, flashes, etc. never seen them not play serious

we don't care what guns our opponents use, why should you care what guns we use? would you rather me not say anything when people insult my team? sorry but im not the type of person to sit around and watch friends take verbal attacks from people.

as for criticism, we take it better than nearly anyone else in the game. we just don't care what other people say about us in terms of how we carry ourselves. all we care about is becoming a better team. if someone says something that will help us do that we listen full heatedly, but if someone is just whining or complaining about how we carry ourselves or that we are using a scar light. tough.

its a waste of our time to not play serious. were all grown men, we got plenty of other stuff to do besides gaming.

    You made a mistake there.

Oz is a deal breaker when you practice with him for 6 months to prepare and dissapears 2 weeks before the event. It's like saying there is no difference if LifeLine went to China without Malte and subbed in a person that has ONLY played the game for 12 days. Thats rediculous.

MRN tells it like it is.

<3 Oz! That lil clutching machine.

Also if anyone wants to scrim today; we usually are on around 7cst. You can find us in echo 8 most days.

  • I'm not gonna punish people on my team for being confident. If they are ****y and have an ego while NOT PERFORMING I will say something. However, if they are confident and getting inside the head of the opponents, so be it. That is a huge aspect of lan plan. We are building this team solely for lan play. Our roster now is way stronger & more motivated than the LPK team from the summer of 2010. We picked up a player who is known for his leadership. This allows me to get advice from someone who knows what they are talking about. Even if we lose scrims or matches, it doesn't change the fact that we are working hard to become the best. Not matter how good we are today, we WILL be better tomorrow. The day after that we will be better then before. Even after we qualify for nationals we will continue to put the time into being the best in the world. What our roster does after wcg is up to them, but until that day we are one team with 1 goal. World Domination.

We can sit here and talk about what happened at WEM all day. When it comes down to it WEM was 6 months ago. What has changed since WEM? Everything. As it stands right now the game is about WCG. It doesn't matter if lifeline had the better team at WEM. They can't use their star sniper at WCG. AS it stands lifeline is divided between american and canadian players. Malte and blitzd gave me a hard time when I told them I was leaving and making an all american team for wcg. A month went by and I looked like a fool. We were losing nearly every scrim. People weren't performing and it was looking as if WCG was going to be mixed nationality teams.

Luckily all that has changed and here we are today, with a strong roster and a strong desire.
