crossfire too intensive?
Okay, he's the deal, CrossFire has semi-good graphics and sound, okay. It is true. Blood graphics are bad, and the physics engine is quite... premature. Environments look good, but are not the greatest. I put all on low quality, and I get 15 FPS at an 8v8 match and inside a smoke nade. The highest FPS i got was 90, and that was in a 1v1 when I just spawned. Mostly, my FPS is around 33.
Urban Terror has bad player models, true. However, it has a much more advanced physics engine, and environment graphics are better than in CrossFire. Blood graphics are great, and unmatchable by most free FPS games. Blood spills when people get shot/die, and blood stains are shown where characters have been shot. In the highest settings, which look way better than in CrossFire, I get a minimum of 25 FPS and a maximum of 160 FPS. Mostly, my FPS is around 90.
So, why does CrossFire give me less FPS than Urban Terror? It makes no sense. Is CrossFire really that much of a resource-hog?
Any information would be appreciated.

Well I have to admit, my pc is kinda outdated (about 1 1/2 yrs). but i still get between 180-200fps, but to compare .. i have no problems running crysis on max settings (that is ... 1280x1024 screen so doesnt require much either lol)
I'm pretty sure I can run Crysis on max for 1920x1200. Might be wrong though, haven't tried. -

To me its all in the games servers
My guess is that there are better servers in CSS in than in CF
Since people actually pay money to keep their servers up which can have an insanely high frame rate (fps/overclocked)
While CF has average servers and stuff
My guess is that if we were able to have our own servers we would have a much better fps -

you got that photo from facebook. its an app on it called advice dog. its ***in weird it told me as advice to kill batman. Its like the person who made it is high 24/7
HAHAHA. I just found a site where you can create your own advice dog. http://memegenerator.net/Advice-Dog
Anyways, back on-topic. I run crossfire with 45 fps on average and idk why I have a good computer, it's probably all the crap I have on it.
