Crossfire not starting, running out of options...
Okay. Ive tried most of what the common solutions thread has said.
And im not computer literate to an advanced level so i kinda dont know what to do anymore...
Ive tried all the mirrors also.
And reformatting is not an option atm.
Ill list off my computer specs and see if anyone else knows a solution.
-Windows XP
-Intel Core 2
-Geforce GTS 250
-1 Gig RAM
-SB Audigy
Well, the basics.
What happens is it will go to the splash screen, load for about 5-ish seconds, then disappear.
Thats pretty much it. The game doesnt start or anything.
Anyone else have this particular problem, and know anyways for fixing/working around it?

Sounds like a issue with your gameguard. What you can do, is, granting Gameguard and Crossfire full access in your firewall settings to the internet. Make sure, that these both Applications wont get stoped by your antivirus.
Ensure, that all unnessessary backgroundprocesses are closed.
That should fix your problem -
