Tutorial: First think , then play
Hi,
This is my first 'mini' tutorial, my native language is not English, so please don't blame me for any grammar mistakes ^^. This tutorial is for starting crossfire players, but i'm not explaining you how to aim / hs / camp, i'm just trying to give you some advice before taking an action. I hope this is usefull to some of you.
1) Using your map
While playing you should be aware of the position of your team members.
Now i know one guy is camping , two went right , one left , one mid and the last guy is already in at their base.
Now always look at the people who got killed, if you see the one in the middle got killed, you already have a slight idea of where your enemy might be hiding.
2)Don't be surprised
I often see people, who walk directly after the person they saw, just to kill 'em in the back.
Now combining the information you took from your map , and the people that are still alive
you should take se safe decision. Don't walk after someone if there might be a chance someone else is following you!
3)Don't take the easy targets
Everybody knows it, when the game starts in alaksa, and you walk forwards towards the enemy's base , you pass the last wall and BAM! you see a sniper sitting in the corner on the elevated part , looking the other way.
You start shooting him, but then you see a guy's head popping around a cornor takin you down.
Try to avoid this at all cost, before shooting a vulnerable target you must be sure nobody else can hit you!
Look at this movie and see how many times he forgets to look behind the corners or just jumps into the battlefield like a monkey... Look at 2:44 , you get the example. Of course it was a 1v1 one at that moment, but if there were more people alive at that moment , that was the most idiot thing he could do.
[url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTlMujwLthgYou can use this movie as an example as well[/url], he often jumps into the open field and then he realisezes there are three people shooting at him.
4) Don't try any sick tricks
Glitching is prohibited, but some of you still try it. Don't glitch because you'll get Kicked/Killed easily, thats just a fact. But for the people who think it's cool to jump onto high buildings and stuff like that, it takes alot of time and while performing the 'stunts' you're too vulneralbe.
It might look cool, but it ain't usefull.
Thanks

Jumping on building is not glitching. Don't get the two confused.
And try saying that jumping isn't useful when I'm sitting on Mexico roofs, laughing at you :P -
Alright needs to be edited though. Because the first thing people are going to do it play CF not go onto the forums and check things out. It's a fact!
True... 99% of all the players first play a long time crossfire and then read the forum... so the chance that a newb comes here before he starts playing is really... small. -

Hmm I'm an odd ball then 1st place I came being a newb is the forums. And hey Ty for the info it was helpful. All though I died more than a few times anyways -

You understand that the Mexico roof jump covers the entirety of A Alley, the ledges across from it, and the roofs on A site right? -
wanna get more advantages at mini-map readings ... play cossacks - back to war *..*
Well, that was akward, can you use it so you get better at cf?I like this tutorial,it has good tips and tricks 4 beginners. One thing u could have mentioned is when u get flashed,u should look at ur minimap,if u know the map u can see where you are,and u could hide behind a box or something
You're totaly right, totaly forgot about that. You understand that the Mexico roof jump covers the entirety of A Alley, the ledges across from it, and the roofs on A site right?
I do , but I still think ur very limited when you find yourself on high buildings.
