Statistically, the AK-74 should be a better rifle than the 47, since it's a later model and uses more accurate bullets, the 5.52mm cartridge instead of the 7.62mm - 5.52s also do more damage to human targets because the bullets 'tumble' in their target.
On another note...
The 228 is an underrated pistol. It's got great firerate for most weapons and offers decent power. There's a reason the US Navy SEALs use it.
