Reporting Players.
Since I started to report players for cheating I have noticed that when I report a player that doesn't buy ZP, the report is handle within a day and the cheater is banned, its very effective to be honest. But when I report someone who bought any ZP the report is not even read. The GM in charge does not even download the replay to check it out. I tried to report these players two times, one two weeks ago and the second time a few days ago, both times the reports were ignored. Today I reported two players that never bought ZP and they got banned in less than 12 hours.
I have seen one of the guys I reported the other day (the report that got ignored), and guess what? He is still chamming, and nothing is done to change it. This situation made me feel a bit frustrated since I spend some of my free time reporting players for nothing.
My question is, should the reports of the players which buy ZP be any different? Or a player has the right to cheat since he donated a few bucks?
I know it is ridiculous but it is what it seems, people who don't donate get banned within a day, and donating players don't have nothing to worry about since the reports are just ignored.

my friend got his account banned when his other friend tried to buy him ZP. punishment? i think it was $250 fine or so. -
ZP buyers get the banhammer too. Maybe you were wrong about his chams or maybe not. Thing is we don't even get to see a list of banned ZP buyers.The GM in charge does not even download the replay to check it out.
Whoa there /: Don't lie like a rug. Who's to say that our GMs don't even bother watching the replays.
I rarely (forgot to save replay/lazy/RQ/unsure) report hackers but the ones I have reported have been banned. Give it some time and your hacker may be brought to justice. Keep checking that last played date. -

When you upload the replay to a host, you can check the times it was downloaded, every replay of a player that bought ZP has ZERO downloads. So they don't even check if he is or not cheating.
And about giving it some time, I reported them over two weeks ago. I made two new reports today, both reports were dealt in 2 hours. Would they check the reports from today first than the reports with 2 weeks? I guess not sir. -
ive got 7 replays saved on megaupload and i just checked them again and only 1 has been even downloaded the others havent and its been over 5 months...

most of those replays even have 2 or more hackers at the same time, which prompted me to want to report so much... and i make sure to only report people who are very obvious hackers like not even caring if they get reported -
lol i dont care if i get reported either,since i am legit why should i care?lol doesnt mean ppl who don't care = hackers..also aimbot isnt obvious..chaming..kinda is kinda isnt
multiple times they come into a room where you are far away from them and completely still, they quickly look directly at you and hs

He misses some, it happens. He's one man, not a machine!

Just to quote a GM, There is another banlist for GMs that ZP players go on. We don't see all of the banned players.
So all hackers get banned wether they buy ZP or not. We don't see those bans -

they dont get banned if no one reads the reports... I also keep an eye on my media fire acct and last i checked...... one replay has been downloaded. out of about 14.....
and the verbal abuse screen shots have not been touched.....
i dont think there is an issue as to z8 not caring.. i know they want to get rid of hackers.
BUT as dealco said it... Saiden is one man... obvious solution, farm out some help thru the mods maybe. i understand this is a company and they cant have unpaid mods banning customers.. thats why they should only give the reports on players who dont buy zp. not sure if that would cover the legal issues or not. but it would work.
I am glad to hear the some peoples reports get reviewed..... it restores my faith in the system. i just wish mine would. -

well what he is saying is if u use megaupload u can see in your file manager if the file has been downloaded, and i just noticed the same thing none of my ZP replays execpt for one and guess what he got a slap on the hand and was back on in 2 days -

okay first if ZP buyers get treated like the nonZPs
then why is it i sent in a ZP to fallen and he replyed to me saying it was obvious and it was DLed to view and yet he ws back with same name in 2 days with a warning for hacking.
and the other one is a simple one since the issue of saidin is one man has been said for months on months. so, when the heck is Z8 going to hire someone else to work with saidin cause i know sitting and watching is annoying for one replay i couldnt imagine 400
or like one guy said how about you mods do some work by watching them and if u do see a hacker then u send it to saidin for final look then at least maybe 3 or 4 mods can cut 400 down to 40 for saidn to look at

my background is from the free Moding community of retail games, which i know is different then that of Z8games.(as a company)
i understand that if a rouge mod banned a bunch of people who were not actually hacking
it would make z8 liable.. some how... (despite the user agreement) but what if the mod just made recomendations, reviewed the replays and noted the time of the most convincing evidence of hack... that way an employee of z8 could go back and quickly review the replay with out having to spend as much time sorting thru garbage. Im pretty sure u can trust a mod to dismiss hackuasations. dont give them the power to band, just to sort thru the boguss reports. leave the rest that are "suspect" and have saiden watch only those. -

wow is all i have to say. The gm's are stupid. I dont me to be mean but they are. If they get 400 pms like WTH just fix the issue. Screw the reporting system, solve the problem. Fck the replays get better hack protection. I mean it IS an issue so fix the dam thing. save money and time by not hiring more GMs and reading thousands of PMs, just solve the issue.

400 pm's in a quiet day is a lot but that is the reason why i ONLY send reports when i KNOW someone (or in some cases more than 1 person) hack, not suspicious, not maybe, not probably, not 90% sure, 100% sure.
its the reason i havent reported very many people.
so month old+ reports that havent been downloaded, i should resend??? i dont want to send multiple pm's with the exact same message but after 4months the hacker could have long quit the game...
