Yea sounds like something I need to do.Youngest son been ill lately so my mind is kinda wandering right now between issues irl and this terrible game.Community is bout only reason I show up somedays. -

I still don't see why people call the game terrible. There are ways to make it interesting. But yea. The thing i like about scrimming is that it takes my mind off from things that bother me irl. I get to call strats and think of our next move. Not saying i'm good at it or anything but no one else in our team usually wants to do it. And that's fine by me.Yea I kinds group the game and its % of trolls all together sometimes.Good friends and clanmates makes the game fun for me.Not into trying to achieve any prestige or glamour over winning and losing so for me its all bout good times and good people.As for the issues ugh guess thats just life.A bit worried lately thats all.
Ofcourse i'm trying to get better at what i do in the game all the time. That is why i want to find teams that can beat us. Easiest way to learn is to fail and figure out what went wrong. It's not really about winning or losing. It's the learning mostly. And fooling around.
I also get good laughs from the trolling/bashing attempts the opponents throw at us.
The main point. I play to get my mind off from irl stuff. And it works quite well.

Works sometimes but then theres the days where the game becomes as bad as real life.I can play and deal with most things but every now and then shyt just gets under my skin.I should know to expect it from ignorant ppl on this game sometimes.But that just comes with cf i guess.Couldnt try to be so comptetive even if I wanted because it gets to be like schoolyard bs with all the shyt talking over 1 win or loss.God bless being intoxicated ^^ -
There are different levels of "competitive" in this game. We play on the clan server. Then there are leagues. Then there are allways the few better teams in them that trash talk each other in the leagues and on the forums. To put it simply. The forum community is the worst of them all. I just lurk the competitive side boards for laughs. Best advise i can give to anyone playing the game is to mind their own business. Let them bash you all they want. Ignoring it is easy.
If you like to pub with your clan mates or alone. Do it. Ignore the ones bashing you. If you want to scrim or plat competitively. Just do your thing and find a team that fits your needs. Not all of them are whining over everything. There are many mature and fun groups out there. It just might take time to find the clan you're looking for.
I'm lucky i found the people i play with even after 2.5 years and we mostly share the same ideals about the game.
Sauna's goal atm is to get our core as active as it used to be and go to ESL for the lulz. We know we won't do too well in there. But the idea is to go there and learn. Clan server in general gets quite boring and most of the time we don't get enough practice there to actually improve anything.

the younger kids in this game (13-18 mostly) is a crappy generation for the most part. Not everyone that age is this way but most are. They are going to be our downfall irl. They are for the lack of a better word ignorant. -

Same for most of our team. But mostly we just flame each other for the lulz. And sometimes we let our "egos" collide and argue about pointless stuff to the worlds end. People get annoyed and rage in our vent often. Most of the time i'm there trying to calm them down. Some days i'll ignore it and let things go bad.
In a way i hate my role in our team. It's proven that without me some of them stop playing or argue their brains out. And as i have allways called our strats someone other calling when i'm gone sparks some flames within the team. But it's a role i've chosen at the very beginning. -

The forum community is a minor part of the players in this game. The game won't die because of it. The forum community has it's impact on the general opinions and attitude in game on the long run. Easiest solution to make the competitive community better would be better leagues. With good AC. In general doubt is what makes the community as bad as it is. Competition on a fair ground is what they need. Not an easy task. But you're right.
