There have been a few threads on this and from what i gather.
Windows 7 64bit works but 32bit doesnt work as Gameguard havnt given full support for it yet.
Yeah that's basically what I read to so far Ill just go to vista again and wait around lol only reason I got it so soon was I could get it really cheap:P Ill try a lil more but I gotta change oil/install some lights on my scooter soon If I find the cure ill post it. But my bet is ill have to wait till there's a patch -
Holy #$^% windows 7 is bs for terms of working with anything.. And I saved a vista partition and told it not to even go near it but it apparently over rite it anyways.... So I'm stuck and cant do crud all with windows 7... Any one who wants it stay away from it for least a month more -.- lol

True, but quite a few people thought Windows 7 RC was so stable and reliable they were using it as their main OS. :P
Yes, whenever I plan to move to a new OS, make sure that all the programs you want to keep actually work with the new OS. Otherwise, dual-boot it with XP or Vista. -

According to some sites, it is possible to make the game work if you replace the gameguard.des file in the crossfire file or in the gameguard file.
Unfortunately, on Windows 7 Ultimate x86 Retail, this doesn't work. I've spent hours on Google to find a solution to fix it, but it still crashes (BSOD).
I guess Gameguard developers need to fix this on their own, and rapidly.
Patience is the mother of all virtues right?
Good day all
