From what I understand, it's only really beneficial when scaling at higher resolutions or multiple displays... but I'm not qualified to give you a good answer >.>

It's going to depend what you're doing. Before you go and buy a second card do your homework. Here are some benchmarks showing how cards are preforming FPS wise alone and then with crossfire.

I plan too run at least 3 monitors in Eyefinity. Thats why i asked for the opinions.
