Blank Box with OK, but no Gameguard icon in the tray
Hey guys, this is...Sparrow, today when i tried to play CrossFire, the Gameguard blank error box showed up, i did like usual, but i was surprised by the fact that the gameguard icon doesnt appear in the system tray, i already uninstalled CrossFire, but it still doesn't work, what's going on?

Wow, I thought I was the only one and the forums also didn't work, so I couldn't get help >.<
I did this:
Run Windows System Restore and I chose 22 october, because my antivirus got updated then (I thought that was my problem). AAAAAND it worked.. It's really strange, but system restore worked. Try that

hacker lol jk. happens when your crossfire closes and then you close gameguard in the tray.. i reset my comp lol since you cannot open more than one application for crossfire
you can close the process in windows task bar but idk what it is named
now restoring my system, maybe that it was the fault of avg 9 =.= -
Easy, Just turn off ur antyi-virus software!

nah i have AVG
New problem, now that i restored my computer, my Anti-Virus is unable to start up and when i try to start CrossFire, it says "Failed to load URL of version .ini."
...
EDIT: Re-installed AVG 9, but it stil shows the "Failed to load URL of version .ini."

lol you can restore the restore meaning if you do a system restore you and move it back forward to what it was before you restored -

oh and i found that my program files were messed up
now...re-installing CF...65%... -
